Computer Specifications

Computer hardware specifications are technical descriptions of the computer's

components and capabilities.

 Processor speed, model and manufacturer. Processor speed is typically

indicated in gigahertz (GHz). The higher the number, the faster the
computer. It may also include the brand, model, number of cores, etc
 Random Access Memory (RAM), This is typically indicated in gigabytes
(GB). The more RAM in a computer the more it can do simultaneously. The
type of RAM as well as the speed (usually in MHz)
 Hard disk (sometimes called ROM) space. This is typically indicated in
gigabytes (GB) and refers generally to the amount of information (like
documents, music and other data) your computer can hold.
 Other specifications might include network (ethernet or wi-fi) adapters or
audio and video capabilities.

Clock speed is the rate at which a processor can complete a processing cycle. It is
typically measured in megahertz (MHz) or gigahertz (GHz).
1Hz =1 cycple per second
1MHz=1000000 cycles per second
1GHz=1000Mhz
One megahertz is equal to one million cycles per second, while one gigahertz
equals one billion cycles per second. This means a 1.8 GHz processor has twice the
clock speed of a 900 MHz processor.
