Lecture PHYSICS

This document outlines the lecture plan for a course on Applied Optics. The course objectives are to teach students the basics of geometrical and physical optics, optical phenomena such as interference and diffraction, and applications of interferometry. The course is divided into 6 units over 52 lectures that cover topics including image formation, interference, diffraction, double refraction, interferometers, and optical systems. Students will learn about these topics and their uses in testing and measurement applications. The course aims to provide students with a broad understanding of optics and optical instrumentation.
