I. TITLE: BROILER PRODUCTION

II. OBJECTIVES:

A. General Objectives:

The Broiler Production project will aim generally to establish Broiler project to
increase chicken (meat) production to meet the demands of the local market and to create
additional income for the School.

B. Specific Objectives:

Specifically, the project aims:

 To develop entrepreneurial capabilities, interest and skills


 To showcase the business potentials of the project; and
 To produce quality fresh meat at affordable prices.

III.TIMEFRAME: 45 DAYS

IV. RATIONALE:

Broiler is one of the most common species of poultry, and broiler production of a
highly specialized industry, though requiring a relative large investment, can be source of
a great profit in a short period of time. In the Philippines, it has been considered as a fast
growing industry; since it is a major contributor in meeting the people’s need of protein.
Since, broiler meat production is one of the most promising and competitive
agribusiness nowadays. It can be raised easily in our backyard even for a minimal space
area.

V. PLANNING AND PREMISES:

An existing cages located at the back of the PAGCOR building will be utilized. All
inputs will be purchased by the school, whereas cultural practices will be done by the farm
workers and project in-charge.

VI. ESTIMATED EXPENSES:


A. Day old chicks - 100 chicks @ 35/chick - 3,500.00

B. Feeds
1. BMEG Integra 1000 in 1 week
25 kls @ 31/kl - 775.00
2. BMEG Integra 2000 in 2 weeks
50 kls @ 30/kl - 1,500.00
3. BMEG Integra 3000 in 1 weeks
100 kls @ 28/kl - 2,800.00
C. VACCINE
1. New Castle Disease B1B1 (day 7) 1vial @ 350/vial - 350.00

D. VITAMINS
1. Probiotics/MultiVit 1 bottle @ 300/bottle - 300.00

E. BROODING (Day 1 – 21)


1. Electricity - approximately 200 hrs. of usage- 100.00
2. Incandescent Bulb - 2 bulb @ 40/bulb - 80.00

TOTAL EXPENSES - Php 9,405.00

VII. ESTIMATED GROSS INCOME:

1.3kls/head x 100 heads = 130kls @ 100 pesos/kl - Php 13,000.00
