Opportunities Attractive Matrix

The Opportunities Attractive Matrix (OAM) is used to grade the attractiveness of business opportunities based on their market potential, financial feasibility, competitive advantage, and available entrepreneurial resources. Each of the four components are given a grade from 0 to 5 and make up 25% of the overall score, except for competitive advantage and entrepreneurial resources which together are 50%. Opportunities receive an overall rating of highest, high, moderate, low, or lowest potential based on their total OAM score. Market testing and research is then conducted on opportunities with the highest potential ratings.
