1. The Razorback T-shirt Shop ordered 12 cases of t-shirts. If each


case contains 24 t-shirts, how many t-shirts did they order?

2. The Razorback T-shirt Shop makes $9 dollars off each t-shirt sold.
During the Arkansas and Texas Tech game they sold 200 t-shirts.
How much money did they make from selling the t-shirts?

3. The Razorback T-shirt Shop sells their extra-large t-shirts for $10.
Last week they sold 45 extra-large t-shirts. How much money did
they make from those sales?

4. Marlee has 12 guests coming to her Halloween party. Each
table will hold three guests. How many tables will she need? If
each guest uses 2 glasses, how many glasses will she need?

5. Mrs. Walker will have 56 apples for bobbing. She will place a
maximum of 9 apples in each bucket. How many buckets will
she need?

6. Warren has 248 guests coming to his party. Each table will hold
4 guests. How many tables will he need? If each table has 2
candles, how many candles will he need?

Answers

1. 12 x 24 = 288
They ordered 288 t-shirts.

2. 9 x 200 = 1,800
They made $1,800 from selling t-shirts.

3. 10 x 45 = 450
They made $450 that week from selling extra-large t-shirts.

4. 12 ÷ 3 = 4
12 x 2 = 24
Marlee needs 4 tables and 24 glasses.

5. 56 ÷ 9 = 6 remainder 2
She needs 7 buckets; the last bucket will only have 2 apples.

6. 248 ÷ 4 = 62
62 x 2 = 124
Warren needs 62 tables and 124 candles.
