Reflection 2
Reflection 2
THIRD QUARTER
LESSON PLAN in FILIPINO 6
Teaching is a journey of inspiration, discovery, and growth, both for the teacher and the learner. As I
reflect upon the art of teaching, I am reminded of the great responsibility and privilege that comes with
guiding others on their path of learning.
Today's reflection centers around the application of a learner-centered teaching philosophy, specifically
highlighting the integration of a collaborative approach and an interactive approach in my lesson plan
This experience reinforced the power of student engagement, active participation, and dynamic learning
through collaboration and interactivity.
In designing my lesson plan, I placed an emphasis on collaboration, recognizing the great value of
students working together to construct knowledge. I structured activities and tasks that fostered
teamwork, peer engagement, and collective problem-solving. I wanted to encourage students to
collaborate, discuss ideas, and actively engage in their own learning by fostering a collaborative
environment.
During the implementation of the lesson, I witnessed the remarkable impact of the collaborative
approach. Students eagerly interacted with one another, sharing knowledge, coming up with ideas, and
expanding on one another's work. My role as the facilitator was to facilitate and support their interactions
so they could take responsibility for their own learning and work together to achieve the group's goals.
Additionally, I integrated an interactive approach to enhance the learning experience. Interactive activities
allowed students to actively engage with the subject matter, promote deeper understanding and critical
thinking. Through hands-on exercises and discussions, students were encouraged to participate actively.
The interactive nature of the activities ignited curiosity, stimulated discussions, and fostered a deeper
connection with the subject matter. A more dynamic and interesting educational experience was made
possible by the students' active participation in their learning.
I observed a setting that was alive with active interaction, lively discussions, and a sense of shared
responsibility for learning by combining the collaborative and interactive approaches. Students worked
well together, sharing their distinctive viewpoints and gaining from the various peer insights. The
interactive method helped students to understand concepts better and encouraged critical thinking.
Moving forward, I am committed to further exploring and refining the application of collaborative and
interactive approaches in my teaching practice. I recognize that by providing opportunities for students to
work together, actively engage with the subject matter, and interact with their peers, I can create an
enriching learning environment where knowledge is constructed, connections are made, and students
become active participants in their own learning journey. This learner-centered approach not only
enhances academic growth but also equips students with valuable skills and competencies necessary for
their future success.
