STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

APPLYING FOR: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

In this dynamic world of Industrial technology, where every other day
sees a spate of new concepts and innovation emerging, I want to stay
on fast track. Ever since I was a child, I had a great interest for the
Industrial industry. My passion towards Industrial industry has always
made me research the minute detail of every vehicle that keeps me
more interest. It is my strong perception that a basic undergraduate
education is inadequate for securing in-depth knowledge of a
particular field. Master’s degree at Saint Louis University would not
provide me subject matter proficiency but also thorough research
oriented study would help me lay substance for gratification of my
dream of reaching the pinnacle in Mechanical Engineering.

MY SCHOOLING:
I have done my schooling in Bapatla Polytechnic College, one of the
best schools in the city known for its imparting virtues, ethics and
moral values, shaping me as a responsible and complete person.
Along with my academics, I actively participated in sports. I played
basketball from my childhood days, while I’m in 10 th class led my
Intel High School in basketball tournament in a Polytechnic -school
competition. I completed my 10th standard with 8.3 points in 2017.
mathematics as a subject has always fascinated me, I choose maths
course in Intel High School that prepared students for their chosen
undergraduate stream. I completed Polytechnic in 2020 with an
aggregate of 67.78 Percentage. These provided the required
fundamentals to pursue Engineering in my Under Graduation.
MY UNDERGRADUATE STUDY:
In India getting enrolled into a technical course is through a rigorous
entrance test. My performance in the test provided me with the
privilege of choice. I choose Mechanical engineering in the
prestigious KKR & KSR Institute of Technology & Science,
permanently affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. During my
undergraduate program, fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering like
Engineering Mechanics, Machine Design, CAD/CAM, Finite Element
Analysis, Automobile Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Fluid
Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines and Systems, Material science which
together with the practical work reinforced my interest.
I have become intensely interested in the field of automobile, I feel
that in this field, I have the most potential and am sure of proving
myself. One of my dreams has also been in designing automobiles,
and I feel that the knowledge gained in this field would enable me to
make my dream a reality.

I helped in organizing national level seminars, guest lectures,

workshops and conferences. I have been involved in organizing
various cultural and technical events. Working for these activities
have honed my leadership skills, resourcefulness, team dynamics and
focus. Involvement in extracurricular activities has added an element
of dynamism to my personality.

Reasons to choose Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering:

It would be extremely appropriate to talk more about my undergrad
degree program, specifically in terms of domain selection, subjects
relevant to my master’s program, and the major motivators behind the
same. During the coursework, I invested a lot of time in subjects like
Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Software Testing, Database
Systems, Object-Oriented System Development, Data Warehousing,
Computational Intelligence, Information Security, Digital Image
Processing, and more. In addition to that, I also indulged myself quite
actively towards learning more about Python, Java, Social media
analytics, Mobile Computing, and Networking Analytics. My
inclination towards IT as the preferred domain of study comes from
the fact that computing technologies have always intrigued me. Since
my formative years, I was extremely optimistic regarding the
deployment of these concepts concerning the Software Industry.
Therefore, when I finally got an opportunity to unravel the
applications and mysteries pertaining to this sector, I embraced
Information technology with open arms and with an open mind.
I realized that pursuing MS in Mechanical Engineering would come
forth with a lot of rewarding opportunities especially when the career
goals and industry-specific implementations are concerned. As every
sector requires data visualization to draw actionable insights and
increase existing revenues, Mechanical Engineering comes across as a
highly relevant domain of study. For me, however, a Master’s Degree
in Mechanical Engineering would help me realize the short-term goal
of proper resource utilization pertaining to a specific industry. The
long-term goal of working alongside a company of repute is also
possible to achieve if I can fulfil the responsibilities and rigors of this
international Mechanical Engineering curriculum.

high standards of academic milieu and good infrastructure facilities
attract me more. To fuel up my passion further in the field of
Mechanical Engineering studies, I endeavour to pursue my Masters in
Mechanical Engineering and acquire necessary skills in this field.
What powers me is my life’s motto to be on the right path of success,
in a right place and at the right time.
At this point, I feel that pursuing Masters in Mechanical
Engineering and the related subjects would be right thing to do, as it
would put my abilities and interest together and to put the appropriate
knowledge to water the technical ideas I have and develop the best
appropriate career for myself. As I have gained some experience in
the industry, I want to learn more about Mechanical Engineering.

Future Career Goals:

I firmly believe that if professionals are interested in enhancing their
problem-solving skills and technical prowess, pursuing MSc in
Mechanical Engineering is the best way forward. With Waymart
collecting almost 2.5 pet bytes of data on an hourly basis, it is quite
right to infer that Networking and the applications of Mechanical
Engineering are growing at a rapid rate. If given a chance to pursue
Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from, I would be able to help
businesses make profitable decisions in the future by putting the
concepts of Networking to use. With Data Analytics to work with, I
will have the ability to manipulate the existing organizational
parameters in some of the more prudent ways. Moreover, my
academic skills, work experience, and other credentials would help
me understand the international Mechanical Engineering curriculum
in a much clearer manner. I would, therefore, be an asset to the
university and would request you to give me an opportunity when it
comes to pursuing Master’s in the preferred domain of study.
