Functions

* 2 balanced input, 4 balanced output for 2*4 Processor;

3 balanced input, 4 balanced output for 3*4 Processor;
2 balanced input, 6 balanced output for 2*6 Processor
( Below is taken 2 * 6 processor for example , 2 * 4, 3 * 4 processors are the same as 2 * 6 )
* 24-bit,48kHz sampling rate,∑-Δ AD/DA convertor,32 bits DSP chip
* Input processing includes Gain, Mute ,Noise gate,8 parameter EQ, Delay
* Output processing includes crossover,5 parameter EQ, Gain, Mute, compressor/limiter, Phase, Delay
and so on
* Every input and output can do matrix assign flexibly
* Adjustable PEQ frequency, Gain and bandwidth; we can choose style: PEAK , H-SHELVE , L-SHELVE
* The style of all High-cut ,Low-cut filter and Distributor Unit: Butterworth , Linkwitz - Riley , Bessel ; slope
is -6dB/oct~-48dB/oct
* Adjustable compressor/limiter threshold, ratio, attached time and release time
* Adjustable threshold, attached time ,release time of all noise gate
* All delay module's delay time can reach over 688ms,the step is 0.021ms
* Parameter setting of each channel can copy freely, build-in signal generator
* 32 user preset , with PC software , USB and RS232 port control , online remote control and 256 units

1 Input Level Indicator

5-segment high precision LED shows the situation of input level on current channel
2 Mute Key
Mute channel by pressing and exit by pressing again. Enter edit status by Long click 2 seconds
3 Edit Key
“UTIL”: choose system menu
“SAVE”and“RECALL”:save and transfer program , or up and down option
“EXIT”: exit at every status
4 LCD
Show all the related operation parameter and status of current operation
5 Parameter edit knob
Edit all the menu and parameter preset, confirm by pressing down
6 Output Level Indicator
4-segment high precision LED and 1 compressor signal light shows the status of output level and compressor on
current channel
7 Mute Key
Mute channel by pressing and exit by pressing again. Enter edit status by Long click 2 seconds USB Interface

INPUT1 GAIN After entering edit status, input channel gain will be show first on LCD,the scale is
- 60 . 0dB -60dB--+12dB

Press RECALL key the first time enter PEQ paramenter setting status: PEQ number
PEQ : 1 F : 50 . 8 Q : 4 . 00
1-8 can be chosen,the scale of F is 20Hz-20kHz, Q is 0.4-128, G is -12dB--+12dB,
G : 0 . 0dB PEAK ON
filter style: PEAK,LOW-SHELF,HIGH-SHELF,bypass ON/OFF

GATE TH : - 70 . 0dB Press RECALL key the second time enter NOISE GATE setting status: the scale of
ATT : 30mS REL : 100mS THRESHOLD is -90dB--0dB, ATT is 1mS-200mS, REL is 1mS--999mS

Press RECALL key the third time enter DELAY parameter setting status: unit(mS),the
INPUT1 Delay
scale is 0-688mS; unit(m), the scale is 0-234m; unit(ft), the scale is 0-769ft.(press
0 . 000mS
SAVE key also can switch to edit ,but the sequence is opposite)

Press the first time, enter ID number setting: the ID number of the units should be
ID Number Select different when cascade connection, the setting scale is 1-254.(if cascade connection
ID : 1 units are over 16 or long distance, a loaded 120ohms resistance should be pararell
connected by Rs485

Operation Guidance

Unit Lock Press the second time, enter password setting: users can choose all the words or
Password [ 1234 ] numbers to set the password they want,the initial password is 1234

Input Source Select Press the second time, enter signal source selection: pink noise, white noise and sine
ANALOG INPUT wave 20Hz-20kHz

Copy Channel Select Press the fourth time ,enter copy channel selection: input or output channel
InA - > InB can copy freely

Delay Units Select

Press the fifth time, enter delay unit setting: Ms, m, ft can be chosen

Store Preset Press save key ,enter preset save. Users can save the adjust status in U00-U31, and
U00 Default Preset F00 manufacture preset can not save

Load Preset Press RECALL key, enter preset transfer. Users can transfer the saved settings U00-
F00 Default Preset U31 and the initial setting F00

OUTPUT1 GAIN After entering edit, output channel gain will be show on LCD. The scale of gain is
- 60 . 00dB -60dB--+12dB

Press RECALL key the first time enter PEQ paramenter setting status: PEQ number

Press RECALL key the third time, enter high pass and low pass parameter setting: the
HP : 19 . 7 BYPASS
LP : 20K16 BYPASS scale of high pass is 20Hz--20kHz, and low pass is 20Hz--20kHz. The style are
BUTTERWORTH, BESSEL, LINKWITZ, the slope is -6dB/oct-- -48dB/oct

INPUT MATRIX SELECT Press RECALL key the fourth time, enter matrix select setting, each channel can
INA : INB : choose one or several input channel signal

Press RECALL key the fifth time, enter compressor setting status: the threshold is
COMP TH : + 12dB
A : 30mS R : 100mS 1.0
-90dB-+12dB, attached time is 1mS--200mS, raleased time is 1mS--999mS, ratio is
（1:1,1:1.3,1:1.5---LIMIT）

OUTPUT1 POLARITY Press RECALL key the sixth time, enter phase adjust setting: the phase 0°or 180°can
0 be chosen. (press SAVE key also can switch to edit ,but the sequence is opposite)

PC software

PC software set up steps

Warning：the users ' manual , USB drive program and PC software are on the attached CD

Click the drive program“CDM 2 . 04 . 16 . exe”on the attached CD when offline . the below window
will show during the set up process

2 Click the PC software on the attached CD, press “next step” according to the default information, press
”finish” to exit till the PC software set up successfully，close the window after the below window shows:

3 connect the computer and the device with a USB cord，turn on the device，the computer will update the
new hardware automatically, during install the new hardware , the computer will tell you “find new
hardware”，“the hardware have already set up and can be used now”, you can find the current USB
COM number as the below steps:

1.move the mouse to “ computer” or” my computer” on the desktop, click “ management” by the right
mouse, show the below window:

2.After click “ device manager” ，continue to click“port（COM and LPT）”then popup the below window，
show the current USB COM number and then close the window:

4 If your computer system is Windows 7 or Windows 8，please operate according to the below steps；if
Windows XP or other systems, please skip this step, operate as “ step 5” directly

1.move the mouse to the PC software symbol (please do not open)，choose “ properties” by the right
mouse, then popup the below window:

2.Below window will show by click “compatibility” , tick “Run this program as an administrator” which
below “Privilege level”， click “ apply” ,then “confirm”

5．Open PC software，the system will search USB COM automatically, the ttatus bar on the end of PC
software will turn red, and the LCD of the device will show “online”，it means the software and the
device connect successfully, you can operate the p r ocessor by the software now, click the online
symbol first when you exit, then close the software window：

Device link and ceter control operation

The RS - 232 data of the computer can convert to RS-485 mode through AD485A , and it will be more
convenient for the device to long distance control.

We can do long distance control of several linkable device by RS-485

RS - 485 can do long distance control and operation of several devices by center control system.

Achievable long distance control functions by RS-485:

1.input channel gain
2.input channel mute on/off
3.output channel gain
4.output channel mute on/off
5.transfer appointed scene
