Vidyalankar School of Information
Technology is amongst the most popular
colleges of the city offering undergraduate,
postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in
IT, Commerce, Management and Mass
Media. Vidyalankar School of Information
Technology is a college affiliated to the
University of Mumbai and approved by the
Government of Maharashtra.
Vidyalankar: The name synonymous with
educational excellence and success is derived from
the Sanskrit terms ‘vidya’ (knowledge) and ‘alankar’
(jewel). Team Vidyalankar focuses all its energies on
spreading the radiance of the ‘jewel’ of knowledge
and education globally.
DR. ROHINI KELKAR
P R I N C I PA L
Dr. Rohini Kelkar, principal of VSIT is the gold medallist
from University of Mumbai in the subject of Economics. She has
done her Ph.D. from IIT Bombay from the Department of Human-
ities and Social Sciences.
She has more than 30 years of experience of teaching. She
has presented research papers in many national and international
conferences in the University of Technology, Mauritius, Michigan
State University, USA and Warsa, Poland to name a few. She also
has many publications in her name
She has been a resource person for various conferences,
refresher course of University of Mumbai and is invited by many
well-known institutes as a resource person in the subject of
Economics.

Tech-Vista offers students the chance to shine and grow their technical
expertise, innovation and teamwork skills. Tech-Vista is more than just a
tech-festival, it's a platform for students to showcase their technical talent,
creativity and leadership skills. With a diverse range of events that challen-
-ge, inspire, participants will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons,
expand their knowledge and improve their abilities .

General rules AND regulation
1. No Entry FEE
2. Participants will be Provided with E-Certificates
3. Participation will be only allowed on a valid college ID
card.
4. Any kind of obscenity, vulgarity, misbehavior, or slang
language will not be tolerated.
5. For any competition, the decision of the judges and the
Organizing Committee is final and binding.
6. Cheating will lead to immediate disqualification.
7.The event organizer has the authority to modify the
format, rules, and regulation as required.
8. Participants who fail to follow any of the above rules will
be disqualified at any time by the organizing committee.
9. A low number of participants would lead to the event
being cancelled.

Treasure Hunt
· An ideal choice for a group activity that is fun,
engaging, and bonds your team together.
RULES
1. Total time limit of Activity - 60mins
2. Group size - 4 members.
3. You are not allowed to use electronic gadgets (Phones, Bluetooth, etc)
4. Participants are supposed to assemble different parts of
computer cabinet.
5. They need to crack the riddle which will lead them to the next riddle.
6. Winners will be judged on the basis of performance.

CODE CRAZE
Coding Competition
· Debug ok please : Error Solving Round .
· Surprise Round: Details will be shared on the event
day only.
· Buzzer Round: Press the buzzer to answer the question first.
· Crazy coding: Team members solve problems separately.
· Treasure Hunt Round: Follow the hint to find the location and win.
RULES
1. Each team should consist of 2 members.
2. Knowledge of Java, Python, C++, etc. is required.
3. Participants are not permitted to use the internet or mobile
devices or seek outside help.

TECH EXIBIT
Model Presentation
· This competition is based on Embedded systems
/Internet of Things projects and is open to individuals and groups.
· Working model of project is required.
RULES
1. Participants should send the video of working model 3 days prior to
the competition.
2. Shortlisted projects will be part of the competition.
3. Students should bring their own extension board for power supply.
4. Each project team should comprise of maximum 4 members.
Note: Participants are recommended to prepare a flex and PPT of their
project for the competition.

PPT Modification
· Individual Competition: Participants
will receive a basic PowerPoint Presentation.
· The task is to enhance and modify the presentation
· Judging criteria: quality and design, including agenda,
accurate information, eye-catching visuals, and key takeaways.
RULES
l. Design Time - 15 mins, Presentation Time - 3 mins.
2. A minimum of 7 slides and a maximum of 10 slides
3. The topics you get for PPT cannot be changed.
3. Canva (Unpaid) elements can be use but the final presentation
should be in Microsoft PowerPoint.
4. It is mandatory to use animation and transition.
5. It is critical for all slides to be unique in terms of their design, but they
should all coordinate together.

"Turn Your Presentations into Masterpieces"
IMPROMPTU
Extempore
· Individual Competition : Participants will be
given tech-related topics to speak about on the spot.
· Participants will be judged on both the content of their talk and the way
they present it, including factors such as clarity of expression, depth of
knowledge, and overall presentation.
RULES
1. The participant will be given 3 mins to speak about the topic.
2. No use of any digital gadget i.e., no internet will be allowed to
search for the topic.

PRO-CODERS
Blind Coding
· Individual Competition: Each participant must
independently write code for a problem statement without assistance.
· No External Resources: Participants are not allowed to use any external
resources or devices during the competition.
· Fun Element: A "life line" option will be available for participants to
briefly check their code for 15 seconds, adding an element of fun and
interest to the competition.
RULES
1. Each participant must write the code for a given problem, with
MONITOR OFF
2. Participants whose code gets executed will be given higher preference.
3. The second preference will be given to code with the least number of
errors.
4. In case of a tie in several errors, the TIME of SUBMISSION will be
considered.

DAY 2
EVENTS
VALORANT PREMIER LEAGUE
Valorant Gaming
· A gaming event in which teams battle against one
another for the reward. We wish that that the best team win
RULES
1. Each round will be an elimination round.The teams will be given a
maximum buffer period of 30 mins, if the team fails to present them
selves the opponent team will be given the advantage and qualified
for the next round.
2. Team should include 5 players + 2 substitute players.
3. The league matches will be played in the format of “Best of One”
4. The semi-final and the final rounds will be based on “best of three ”
format.
5. Finals will be offline, rest all will be conducted through online mode.
6. If any technical problem arises between the match, the match will
be paused for a maximum upto 10 minutes.
7. The participants need to bring their own laptop for the Finals.

Shark Tank
· Participants present their technology-based
business ideas or start-ups
· A panel of judges or "Tech Sharks" decide if they want to invest
· Focuses on technology and entrepreneurship
· Evaluation criteria will be based on :
- Innovativeness of the product or service
- Potential for growth and scalability
- Understanding of the target market and competition
- Financial viability and potential for return on investment
RULES
1. Each participant will have a total of 5-10 minutes for their pitch, followe
by a 5-10 minutes Q&A session with the judges.
2. After the presentation, the sharks will have 5 minutes to ask questions an
provide feedback to the entrepreneur.

ROBOTRON
Robots Race
· “Life is a race...we have to run fast because the
race is against time!” Okay, so you think your bot
is fast but is it fast enough?
· Robo race is your best chance to find out! Get your racing Robo to the
competition and show us the real fastest Robo.
RULES
1. Immobility (if robot is unable to travel at least 10 cm in 2minutes)
would lead to disqualification.
2. Base of the machine must not be greater than 0.30 m * 0.25 m
(Length * Breadth). No criteria on weight of robot.
3. Maximum number of participants allowed are 4 in a single team.
4. On board power supply should not exceed 12V DC between any
two points in the machine. A robot’s program is the responsibility
of the team.

Web Designing Competition
· Participants show their skills by creating a website
based on a given theme
· Points are awarded for website's UI/UX and interactive experience
· Participants can use any framework or library to enhance website's appeal
