Task 1.1P Project Selection


This is an Individual Pass Task

Project Selection Task Overview


This initial task for SIT317/SIT726 is to be completed after you have attended your Week 1
workshop and/or reviewed the content in the Week 1 Module folder.

This task is to help you get started with the unit and to also help you and the teaching staff
plan for the project you will work on during the trimester as the key innovation topic behind
your individual and group tasks.

Within this task you should download and complete the 1.1P Project Selection Template and
Team Allocation and Project Survey (2023) which is posted in Module “1.3 The Project
Statements” on the Unit Site.

1.1P Project Selection Template includes the following sections you must complete:

• Student and Unit Information


• The Grade
• Project Topic Rankings
• Project Role Rankings
• What is your strength you will bring to a team project?
• What is your biggest worry about working in a team?
• Evidence of Completed survey

Task Submission Details


You are required to submit your completed 1.1P Project Selection Template which should
include evidence of your completed “Team Allocation and Project Survey (2023)”.

This file should be converted into a PDF and submitted vis the OnTrack site.

Remember, anytime you submit a task to OnTrack, it is a good practice to check the status of
any existing tasks, and the future tasks you are expected to complete. If you have received
feedback on previous tasks, you may need to fix and resubmit some of your work. You want
to check out why, so that you can learn from this and make it faster and easier to accomplish
later work to the required standard.
