Many of us exercise and do physical activities at home, in school, and at the gym. It
is important to know the nature of these physical activities for a better understanding
of what they do to our body. As a Grade 11 student, explain the importance and
benefits you get in engaging with different physical activities and how important it is
during the pandemic?

Since the pandemic started people often forget that we need to exercise and in diet
to avoid get the disease as well as of now that there is a virus spreading.Regular
physical activity can help keep your thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as
you age. It can also reduce your risk of depression and anxiety and help you sleep
better of physical activity.Exercising makes your body physically stronger because it
builds bone and muscle strength. Stronger bones contribute to better balance which
means greater stability and fewer injuries, while stronger muscles contribute to
general fitness in carrying out daily activities.Science shows that physical activity can
reduce your risk of dying early from leading causes of death, like heart disease and
some cancers.
During this pandemic everyone is in their houses and many people are getting
lazy. It is important to always exercise during this pandemic so that your body
will stay healthy. Some of the benefits are reducing heart diseases, and
controlling your weight and it can make you confident. Also, it keeps your
muscles and bones strong so that your body will not get hurt fast. Biking is a
good example in exercising your core muscles and legs.
