GROUP TUTORIAL / ACTIVITY

TUTORIAL GROUP : SA2

TOPIC : GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

EXPLANATION
A GUI (graphical user interface) is a
system of interactive visual components
for computer software. A GUI displays
objects that convey information, and
represent actions that can be taken by
the user. The objects change color, size,
or visibility when the user interacts with
them.

ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
• Easy to learn: GUIs are typically • slow and requires high memory
easier to learn than command- to run all program
line interfaces. This is because • some program required longer
they use graphical icons and time to be executed compared to
visual elements that are more CUI
intuitive for users.
• User-friendly: GUIs are designed
to be user-friendly, making them
accessible to people of all ages
and abilities. This is in contrast
to command-line interfaces,
which can be difficult to use for
beginners.
