Stress & Burnout

Stress and burnout can negatively impact mental health. Stressors are situations or events that cause pressure and elicit an adaptive response. Common stressors include big life changes, times of uncertainty, and overwhelming responsibilities. Left unmanaged, chronic workplace stress can lead to burnout, a state of emotional exhaustion and cynicism. Developing emotional resilience through stress management techniques can help reduce the negative impacts of stress and burnout on wellbeing.
