Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are there any pre-requisites to join this program?
Yes and No. If you are already working in tech or have studied in a tech area then this is the right program for you. If you are new to tech, you will need to
complete our Cloud Practitioner Fundamentals program first.
2. Are there any costs for this program?
The CloudUp for Her program is sponsored by AWS, and 50% discounted exam vouchers are provided. The remaining 50% exam cost will need to be covered
by the participant (or employer), the cost is US$75.
3. Are the events all remote?
Yes, all events are virtual/remote and are available across a number of time zones.
4. What time zone are the sessions in?
We cover North and South America, Europe and Africa and Asia, Australia and New Zealand time zones.
5. Do I need to attend every event?
No, this is a self-paced, study program and we support you with weekly mentor Q&As and 2x hands-on workshops. Choose your own adventure.
6. What collaboration channels and tools will be used?
Slack is the main collaboration channel we use, this is where you will find all the details you need. We also use WebEx for our larger events, Amazon Chime for
weekly Q&A sessions and Zoom for workshops.
7. Do I have to sit the exam at the end of the program?
No. We recommend you take the time you need to practice and learn, and sit the exam when you are ready.
8. How and when do I get my exam voucher?
Please follow the exam voucher request process as shared in the Study Process List: Step 9. Once you request an exam voucher please allow up to 10 business
days for allocation.
9. Who do I contact if I need help?
Always share your questions on Slack first, chances are someone else has already experienced the same problem and is able to help. If you still need help
