Ecom Express Help Documentation

Installation
In order to install the Ecom Express Shipping app, you need to visit the Shopify App Store.

Open the below URL in the browser: https://apps.shopify.com/ecomexpress?st_source=autocomplete then

the following page will appear.

Log in to your shop and then click on the "Add App" button. As soon as you click on the "Submit button, the
following page will appear.

Click on "Install Unlisted App". Doing so, the Ecom Express app will get installed on your Shopify store and
get listed in the "Apps" section. The following page will appear.

As soon as you click on the Ecom Express app in the Apps section, you will get into the app and the
dashboard will be displayed. The following page will appear.

Settings (Configure the app)

After installing the app, the very first step that you need to perform is to do the settings of the app in order
to configure it with your Shopify store. Go to "Settings". The following page will appear.

General Settings

Enable Ecom shipping method: This will let the "EcomExpress" shipping option be listed when the buyer
chooses the shipping service.

Show at frontend: This will let "Ecomexpress" display at your Shopify store as an option for shipping.

Both the Enable Ecom shipping method and Show at the frontend should be enabled in order to use
Ecomexpress as an option.

Enable Development Mode: It is for testing purposes that you can enable this while in Development Mode.
You will need to disable this setting when you are done with development and want to use the shipping app
for your store.

Enable Express plus: This will let the "Ecomexpress" enable express plus shipment.

Disable the Enable Development Mode and enter the API user name and API password of the live server.

Service name: This is the name of the carrier service, which customers will see at the checkpoint.

If you are charging the fee for shipping, then enable Include handling fee and specify the amoumt in Enter
handling fee field; otherwise, disable the settings.

Select countries: You can select multiple countries (hold down the control key to select multiple countries).

You need to enter the minimum delivery and maximum delivery times in days, excluding Saturday and
Sunday.

Seller Information

Specify the Seller GSTIN and Seller TIN.

Pickup Information

Specify all necessary information for pickup, and if you only have one pickup address, the information you
entered in the settings will be the default and will be displayed.

Add more pickup addresses from CSV: If you have more than one pickup address, you can click on
Download Sample Sheet," update it, and save it. Then click on "Upload pickup addresses" and browse to the
saved file.

If you have the same return address, then just select "Same as pickup address"; otherwise, select "New
return address". If you will select "New return address," then you need to fill in the following information.
The following page will appear.

Specify all the necessary fields and then click on it.

How Ecom Express App Works?

After doing all the above-mentioned necessary settings in the app, the app is all set to use. Whenever a
buyer makes a purchase from your store, at the time of checkout, when the buyer fills out the "Customer
Information," he or she needs to enter the pin code.

As soon as an order is placed from your Shopify store, it will get reflected on the app's dashboard. The
following page will appear.

To view the order and ship it, go to the "Order" section. The following page will appear.

To ship the order,click on the "Ship" button corresponding to the order under the "Billing" column. As soon
as you click on the "Ship" button, you will see the following page:

Specify "Package Dimensions" and then click on "Mark as Paid" if you have received the payment. Then click
on the "Ship Items" button to ship the order.

Note: You can also Ship items via Express plus.

Here you have the option that you want to ship the whole order or you want to ship some quantity of that
order.

Shipments
All the orders that you will ship will be listed under "Shipments". From here, you can "Print Label" and track
the order by clicking on the "Tracking Number". The following page will appear.

When you click on "Tracking Number" to view the order status, the following page will appear.

To print a label, click on the "Print Label" button, and you will get a label printed in the following format:

Note: Print label and Shipment steps will be same for both Express and Express Plus.
