QuantaStor SDS Platform Editions:

Standard Edition with Silver Support (Silver)

- QuantaStor Standard Edition includes the complete multi-protocol capabiliites of QuantaStor SDS, less the advanced features of Enterprise Edition. OSNEXUS Silver Support provides
9/5 email and phone support during business hours (9am - 6pm) in the US Pacific Time Zone.

Enterprise Edition with Gold Support (Gold)

- QuantaStor Enterprise Edition includes all of the Standard Edition features and capabilities, plus adds support for DR/Remote Replication, Gluster Scale-out NAS, FibreChannel,
Infiniband, HA and Grids Up To 16 Nodes. OSNEXUS Gold Support provides unlimited 24/7 email and phone support with a maximum 4 hour response time.
Platinum Edition with Platinum Support (Platinum)
- QuantaStor Platinum Edition includes all of the Enterprise Edition features and capabilities, plus adds custom engineering and a Dedicated Support Engineer to your account.
OSNEXUS
Platinum Support provides unlimited 24/7 email and phone support with a maximum 1 hour response time.
Annual Subscription or Perpetual Licensing:

Annual Subscription License:

- Annual Subscription Licenses include support, maintenance packs and product upgrades for one year. At the end of a Subscription license year, a new annual renewal or perpetual key
must be applied. Systems with an expired annual subscription license will continue to operate and serve storage, but will not accept configuration changes.
- An Annual Subscription License will convert to a Perpetual License upon purchase of the 3rd (continuous) annual subscription.

Perpetual License:

QuantaStor High Availability Add-On Module (HA)

QuantaStor High Availablity enables the configuration of two servers into a high availability cluster to ensure automatic storage pool failover in the event of a server failure. QuantaStor HA
Add-On Module provides the option of using HBA-based HA failover using a shared SAS JBOD, or LSI Synchro-based HA failover using a shared SAS JBOD. QuantaStor HA installations
require the purchase of a QuantaStor Enterprise / Gold License (sized to the underlying raw pool storage capacity of the system) plus the the HA Add-On Module. HA orders include two
Enterprise (Gold) or Platinum license keys with HA enabled, one for each appliance. No additional software needs to be installed.

Additional Licensing Notes:

QuantaStor v3 SDS Expansion Keys:

- As needs demand, purchase additional QuantaStor license capacity at the price of the equivalent Subscription or Perpetual License.
- Expansion Key Example: A QuantaStor Standard Edition / Silver Support system with 8TB raw capacity requires an additional 16TB of disk (24TB total). This requires the purchase of a
Silver 16TB Expansion Key priced at $995. Please specify "Expansion Key" when ordering.

QuantaStor License Capacity - Calculation

- QuantaStor SDS Licenses are based on the raw disk capacity of the storage pools used in a QuantaStor appliance.
- Hot spares and boot drives are excluded from the licensed raw capacity calculation, plus we add 1 TB of additional license capacity to allow for SSD caching and rounding error.
- DR / Remote Replication deployments require an Enterprise/Gold Licenses for each QuantaStor appliance appliance (source and destination).
- High Availablity deployments require a single Enterprise/Gold License for the amount of raw disk capacity used to create storage pools, plus the add-on HA module.
