Responsibilities:
Worked on MongoDB for DWS to architect, design, implement and manage a 10 TB clusters with
Automatic Failover (with Replica Sets) and Sharding on 20 physical nodes in Production.
Upgrade MongoDB from 2.4.5 to 2.6.5 on a cluster with 6 Replica Sets and 4 TB in a sharded
production environment using rolling upgrade.
Sharded a collection with 4 TB using in-place across a cluster with 8 Replica sets.

Worked on creating the database logical design model using RDA and worked on Bid and Proposal

for AIX 5.2. Supported several data marts on DB2 LUW and Oracle 8i/9i built on IBM S80 hardware. Carried
out database Capacity planning, physical design, analysis, and diagnosis of the problems and recommendation
of new tools and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Worked on Regatta (p-series 690 on AIX) Refresh project for testing the feasibility of data movement
using DB2 HPU and PDB_EXTRACT tools. Also, got involved in performance benchmarking,
testing and implementing MDC (Multi-Dimension Clusters) and building Sandbox instance and
database on Regatta.
Successfully carried out the expansion of the ECDM DB2 mart with a size of 1.1 TB data on a
nodegroup of 12 partitions (12 CPUs) to a nodegroup of 16 partitions (18 CPUs) using the Stepwise
Redistribution.
Successfully carried out a proof-of-concept to migrate the DB2 UDB databases from version 7.1 to
8.1. Put together a plan to migrate DB2 UDB marts (NWMN2, ECDM and CRDM) hosted on S80s
running DB2 UDB version 7.1 on AIX 4.3 to DB2 UDB 8.1 on AIX 5.
Implemented the DB2 UDB 8.1 Information Integrator on the EDW data warehouse to connect to
various Production databases
Designed, developed and maintained the Disaster Recovery strategies for archiving more than 2.5 TB
of data for warehouse and marts on a monthly basis.
Worked with the Data modeling team to reverse engineer data model from DB DDLs for NEWMAN
data mart using ERWIN data modeler.
