JOTUN Survey Report

Subject: External Painting Works.
Date:  23 March, 2023

With reference to the above subject, we visit the site on 14/03/2023 and please find our observations and
recommendations.

Observations: -
1. Lots of cracks are developed on the plaster.
2. Plaster repairing works are carried out on the walls.
3. Dusts are settled on the existing paint.

Our Recommendations: -

Option 1(with remove the existing Paint): -

Recommended Paint System:


1 x Jotashield Penetrating Primer
1 x Easycoat Profile Décor 2mm
2 x Jotashield Color Last matt

Application Method: -
1. Remove the existing paint by fire torch or other suitable method.
2. Repair all the plaster cracks by “V” shape cutting until the depth of the plaster, fill the cracks with two
component cementation material.
3. Repair all other plaster damages.
4. Apply above paint system. (Minor plaster undulation can cover with applying Texo Compound as skim coat
after primer application).

Option 2: -

Recommended paint system: -


1 x Penguard HB Primer
2 x Texo compound (Skim Coat for leveling the surface)
1 x Texo Compound (By spray)
2 x Jotashield Color Last matt

Application Method: -
1. Repair all the plaster cracks by “V” shape cutting until the depth of the plaster, fill the cracks with two
component cementation material.
2. Repair all other plaster damages.
3. Make sanding on existing paint with 100grid emery paper to achieve profile to receive new paint system.
4. Clean the entire walls by fresh water to remove the dust and loose particles. Keep 3 hours for dry.
5. Apply one coat of Penguard HB Primer.
6. Appl two coat of Texo compound as skim coat.
7. Apply one coat of Texo Compound by spray.
8. Apply two coats of Jotashield Color Last Matt.

Please note: make a mock-up to get approval.
