A DISMANTLING & DEMOLITION WORK
1.1 Carefully dismatanling, removing the existing Aluminium patition at Site. All Sqm 40
necessary precautions/Safety measures to be strictly followed while carrying out
the work. The rate to include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding,
labour required to carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the
required transportation charges for removal of the material to a store/ fabrication
yard within the Owner's premises as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

1.2 Carefully dismataling, removing the existing false ceiling and refixing the Sqm 5
removed False ceiling panels again at Site. All necessary precautions/Safety
measures to be strictly followed while carrying out the work. The rate to include
for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour required to carry out
the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required transportation charges
for removal of the material to a store/ fabrication yard within the Owner's
premises as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

1.3 Breaking ART tiling Floor including PCC taking all necessary precautions/Safety Cum 10
measures. The rate to include for all the tools and tackles, machinery,
scaffolding, labour required to carry out the breaking/ dismantling work. The rate
to include for the required transportation charges for removal of the material from
site/ segregating and stacking the material in the owners premises as directed by
the Engineer In Charge.

1.4 Removal/ Dismantling of existing plastered brick masonry walls at all levels Cum 15
taking all necessary precautions/Safety measures, including cutting
reinforcement, if present in any concrete members of the rubble wall. The rate to
include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour required to
carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required transportation
charges for removal of the material from site/ segregating and stacking the
material in the owners premises as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

1.5 Dismantling of ART /Cermic/Vitrified tiles for Dado taking all necessary Cum 5
precautions/Safety measures, including cutting reinforcement. The rate to
include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour required to
carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required transportation
charges for removal of the material fom Site as directed by the Engineer in
charge.

1.6 Dismantling of RCC work such as beams, pardi, columns, slabs, wall, shear Cum 3
walls, retaining walls,Trimix,Grade slab etc. at all levels taking all necessary
precautions/Safety measures, including cutting reinforcement. The rate to
include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour required to
carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required transportation
charges for removal of the material from site/ segregating and stacking the
material in the owners premises as directed by the Engineer In Charge.
1.7 Carefully removing the Door from the existing plastered brick masonry walls at No 1
all levels taking all necessary precautions/Safety measures, including cutting
reinforcement, if present in any concrete members of the brick masonry wall. The
rate to include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour
required to carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required
transportation charges for removal of the material from site/ segregating and
stacking the material in the owners premises as directed by the Engineer In
Charge

1.8 Carefully removing the Window from the existing plastered brick masonry walls No 7
at all levels taking all necessary precautions/Safety measures, including cutting
reinforcement, if present in any concrete members of the brick masonry wall. The
rate to include for all the tools and tackles, machinery, scaffolding, labour
required to carry out the dismantling work. The rate to include for the required
transportation charges for removal of the material from site/ segregating and
stacking the material in the owners premises as directed by the Engineer In
Charge

1.9 Excavation and backfilling ( on completion of works) in all kinds of soil, wet or dry Cum 1
( such as yellow murrum, hard murrum / gravel or mixture of any kind, etc. ), in
loose and slushy condition, including soft rock below the existing ground level
for foundations, trenches, pits, rafts of walls, pile caps, plinth, leveling area, etc
to all depth from existing ground level including disposing off excavated material
upto a distance of 50 M in layers for site development and consolidating as
directed, if required, bailing / pumping out water to keep the site dry at all times
until completion of refilling; making temporary stepping/ sloping, shoring with
planking, strutting, sectioning, trimming, dressing of sides, leveling or grading,
cleaning, removing and excavating loose pockets and consolidating them by
backfilling as directed by the Engineer In Charge and all complete to the
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.

B CONCRETE WORK
2.1 Providing, machine mixing and laying plain cement concrete in grade M 10 Cum 5
( Ready Mix Concrete or concrete produced at site as per the instructions of the
Engineer In Charge) in foundations for columns footing, base of drain, below
plinth protection to make up level etc; compacting, curing required shuttering
and its removal, dewatering, cleaning, preparing surfaces, junctions etc:
complete at all heights, and depths as per the drawing and to the satisfaction of
the Engineer In Charge. Size of aggregate to be 20 mm or as directed by the
Engineer In Charge for intended thickness.

2.2 Providing, machine mixing and laying reinforced cement concrete (Ready Mix
Concrete or concrete produced at site as per the instructions of the Engineer In
Charge) of grade M-25 from any recognized company like A.C.C., E.C.C. or
equivalent approved design mix, using approved admixtures; vibrating, curing,
scaffolding as required, dewatering by pumping / bailing out water, cleaning,
preparing surfaces , etc., including shuttering/ deshuttering, rendering , hacking
of R.C.C. surface, curing etc. complete but excluding reinforcement; all complete
to the satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.

C REINFORCEMENT / STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK
3.1 Providing, straightening, cutting, bending and binding in position of reinforcement MT 1
bar Tor steel with yield stress not less than 500 N / mm2. to correct shape and
size as per detailed drawings, specifications and approved bar bending
schedules, in footings, walls, columns, slabs, beams, suspended floors, etc, with
correct size PVC cover blocks or approved concrete cover blocks of grade of
concrete and binding wire of 18 gauge etc. complete to the satisfaction of the
Engineer In Charge.

3.2 Providing, supplying, straightening, cutting, fabricating, welding, bolting, erecting, MT 10


grouting in pockets, etc structural steel members in built up or single section of
any standard M.S. Structural inserts for Mezzanine Supports, structural members
as required etc. as per details and drawings including providing 3 coats of
approved make and shade anti-corrosive paint on one coat of red oxide primer,
including providing/ erecting scaffolding etc. complete to the entire satisfaction
of the Engineer In Charge.

3.3 Providing, fabricating and placing in position 6 mm thick M.S. chequered plate MT 5
over the trench etc. as directed. The rate to include for one coat of red oxide
primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade for
the chwequred plate. The plate to also have provision of lifting arrangemnts as
per the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
3.4 Providing and fixing in all levels and required locations to correct lines and levels, Nos. 35
16 mm dia. X 150 mm long Mechanical Fasteners of Hilti/Fischer as per the
details provided in the drawing. The rate quoted to be inclusive of all tools and
tackles required to carry out the work, labour, transport of material etc. complete
to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.
3.5 Providing, fabricating and fixing and all heights and levels 1000 mm high MS Rm 40
Railing. The railing to be manufactured from 50 mm internal dia." B" class M.S.
Pipes as Vertical pieces @ 1 m centres and Hand Rail. 3 nos. 32 mm internal
dia. " B" class M.S. Pipes as horizontal pipes placed equally as per the sketch
provided including necessary lugs, grouting in concrete, painted with two coats
of Zinc chromate primer, two undercoats and one finish coat of Synthetic
enamel paint of approved make, shade and finish. The actual length of the pipe
shall be measured and paid for. Any other structural steel members required in
the railing viz. the plate for fixing/ anchoring the railing to the masonry wall, 100
mm high X 3 mm thick plate as the toe guard provided at bottom of the railing
which shall be welded to the Vertical Pipes as per the sketch provided. The rate
to include for the necessary anchor fasteners, welding/bolting etc. complete to
the entire satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.

3.6 Providing and laying free flowing non - shrink grout of approved make under the Cum 1
base plate of the column of the structure as per instructions issued by the
structural consultant. The non - shrink grout material to be mixed with water/
cement as the instructions issued by the manufacturer and as per the
recommended procedure of the approved manufacturer. The rate to include for
the necessary shuttering, curing etc. required to be carried out as per the
manufacturer's instructions, cleaning, de shuttering etc. to the entire satisfaction
of the Engineer In Charge.

D MASONRY WORK
4.1 Providing and constructing burnt brick masonry 230 mm thick of best available Cum 10
local make with minimum crushing strength of 3 N/sqmm and maximum water
absorption of 25 % in cement mortar mix in ratio of 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 Sand )
complete with required raking out joints, curing, doing independent double
legged scaffolding etc. as per specification at all heights, depths and leads to the
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.

E PLASTERING WORK
5.1 Providing and applying minimum 12 mm thick single coat cement sand plaster in Sqm 200
cement mortar of mix in ratio of 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 sand ), neeru finished smooth
or as required to receive specified finish to correct line, plumb and level to
internal faces of walls/ concrete surfaces including providing 150 mm wide 20
gauge GI chicken mesh at junctions of concrete and masonry work and if
required apply chemical adhesive to concrete surfaces and scratch coat,
independent scaffolding, curing, etc complete to the approval of the Engineer In
Charge. NOTE: Only river sand shall be used for internal plastering work.

F PAINTING WORK
6.1 Providing and applying Asian Paints Apex Ultima Advanced exterior acrylic Sqm 15
smooth emulsion paint with silicon additives having anti-algal, anti-fungal,
weatherproof with excellant dirt pick up resistance and dirt cleaning properties (of
Asian or approved equivalent make) to surfaces in three coats paint (surface and
finish acceptable to the PM must be achieved by the contractor and any
additional coats if required shall be at the cost of the contractor) as per
manufacturers specification and technical manual including including preparing
surfaces, filling up with gypsum or approved filler, even out undulations with wall
care putty of approved make, applying a sealer or primer coat of paint as
recommended by approved paint manufacturer, cleaning and making surface
dust-free, required scaffolding / staging / temporary hoisting etc. complete to the
entire satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.

G FLOORING WORK
7.1 Providing and laying Acid Resistant Tile in flooring of Pelican make of size 300 x Sqm 130
300 x 20mm thk. The tiles to be fixed on cement mortar 1: 5 bedding of required
thickness. The rate to include for 5 mm deep epoxy grouting of approved make
as per the manufacturer's instructions, joints to be cleaned and grouted with
matching epoxy grout of BAL Endura/ ROFFE or equivalent make and with 3
mm joints (by using PVC spacers) , cleaning, curing complete to the entire
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge. (Epoxy Grouting to be considered for 3
mm X 5 mm deep). The basic rate of Tile to be considered as Rs. 1100 per Sqm
including transporation, delivered at Site but excluding the applicable GST.

7.2 Providing and laying Acid Resistant Tile in flooring of Pelican make of size 200 x Sqm 5
100 x 12 mm thk to the walls and the bottom of the drain. The tiles to be fixed on
cement mortar 1: 5 bedding of required thickness. The rate to include for 5 mm
deep epoxy grouting of approved make as per the manufacturer's instructions,
joints to be cleaned and grouted with matching epoxy grout of BAL Endura/
ROFFE or equivalent make and with 3 mm joints (by using PVC spacers) ,
cleaning, curing complete to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.
(Epoxy Grouting to be considered for 3 mm X 5 mm deep). The basic rate of Tile
to be considered as Rs. 1100 per Sqm including transporation, delivered at Site
but excluding the applicable GST.

7.3 Providing and laying Acid /caustic Resistance tiles of approved make for skirting Rm 45
coving of required size in Adhesive bedding of average thickness of 5mm as per
the approved sample.The rate to include for with full depth epoxy grouting of
approved make as per the manufacturer's instructions, joints to be cleaned and
grouted with matching epoxy grout of ROFFE or equivalent make and with 5 mm
joints (by using PVC spacers) , cleaning, curing complete to the entire
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charges.

7.4 Providing and fixing Vitrified tiles of RAK or equivalent make for tile dado as per Sqm 145
the Architectural drawing. The dado to be fixed by means of tile adhesive of
Roffe or equivalent approved make and applied as per the recommended
procedure laid down by the manufacturer including cleaning and preparing the
surface, providing 4 mm thick joint in the dado with the help of PVC spacers,
the joints grouted with matching epoxy matching grout of ROFFE or equivalent
make, cleaning with mild acid , curing etc. complete to the entire satisfaction of
the Engineer In Charge. (The tile to be of size 598 mm X 598 mm X 9.5 mm
Full body, The basic rate for the Vitrified tiles to be considered as Rs.500 per
Sqm.)

H MISCELLANEOUS WORK
8.1 Providing and placing in position 200 mm HDPE pipes of approved make under Rm 12
the existing floor plant. The pipes to be laid at the invert level mentioned in the
drawing , about 750 mm, below the existing floor level. The rate to include for all
the required coupling /collars and any other jointing material. The rate to be
inclusive of the necessary excavation work and refilling work (including the
ramming work) to the desired formation level. The rate shall not include for
the Breaking of Existing floor/ PCC or the proposed new floor PCC and or floor
concrete/AR Tiling work. The rate to include for all the all the Tools and Tackles ,
machinery required for fixing, Labour, transportation Cost, etc. required as
directed by the Engineer In charge.

8.2 Providing and Fixing in position Amul SS double sealed drain trap of Size 300 Nos. 2
mm X 300 mm X 200 mm depth, manufactured out of SS Grade 304 18 gauge
thickness with Perforated Jali at top. The trap Bowl, Internal Cup and Main body
to be die pressed with 100 mm connection at bottom. The traps are to be
provided in the Existing chambers and the rate to include for the modifications
required to be carried out in in the Existing chambers. The rate to include for all
the all the Tools and Tackles , machinery required for fixing, Labour,
transportation Cost, etc. required as directed by the Engineer In charge.

J CIP room Tiles


9.1 Breaking ART tiling Floor including PCC taking all necessary precautions/Safety Cum 20
measures. The rate to include for all the tools and tackles, machinery,
scaffolding, labour required to carry out the breaking/ dismantling work. The rate
to include for the required transportation charges for removal of the material from
site/ segregating and stacking the material in the owners premises as directed by
the Engineer In Charge.

9.2 Providing and laying Acid /caustic Resistance tiles of approved make for skirting Rm 50
coving of required size in Adhesive bedding of average thickness of 5mm as per
the approved sample.The rate to include for with full depth epoxy grouting of
approved make as per the manufacturer's instructions, joints to be cleaned and
grouted with matching epoxy grout of ROFFE or equivalent make and with 5 mm
joints (by using PVC spacers) , cleaning, curing complete to the entire
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charges.

9.3 Providing and laying Acid Resistant Tile in flooring of Pelican make of size 300 x Sqm 160
300 x 20mm thk. The tiles to be fixed on cement mortar 1: 5 bedding of required
thickness. The rate to include for 5 mm deep epoxy grouting of approved make
as per the manufacturer's instructions, joints to be cleaned and grouted with
matching epoxy grout of BAL Endura/ ROFFE or equivalent make and with 3
mm joints (by using PVC spacers) , cleaning, curing complete to the entire
satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge. (Epoxy Grouting to be considered for 3
mm X 5 mm deep). The basic rate of Tile to be considered as Rs. 1100 per Sqm
including transporation, delivered at Site but excluding the applicable GST.
