Why join The Bombay
Flying Club?
· The
Bombay Flying Club is a birthplace of aviation and was
established in 1928 by Mr. JRD Tata the father of aviation in India who
also acquired his pilot’s license from this prestigious institute in Feb.
1929. (Pilot License No.1)

Training is approved by The Directorate General of Civil
Aviation (DGCA) as well as affiliated with the prestigious University of
Mumbai for degree courses. We are your one stop shop to pursue a
career in aviation.

provide comprehensive Commercial Pilot Training along with
BSc. Aviation. These courses are specially designed for young
aspirants to pursue their professional course and not miss out on
earning their undergrad degree.

other aviation courses include Executive Private Pilot License
(Hobby Flying), RPAS Drone Pilot License, Aviation Safety and
Hospitality and Airport Operations and Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS
Ø 10+2 Physics & Mathematics.
Ø Valid Class 2 Medical from a DGCA appointed Medical Examiner. (Dr’s List
Attached)
COSTING
Approximate cost of the PPL would be around Rs.7,55,000/- (75,000/- Ground
Classes & C-172 17,000/- per hour) Including ground training, flying on Single
engine.
Initial payment for PPL Rs.75,000/- for the ground training and further
flying fees has to be paid during SPL in installments.
Approximate cost of CPL would be around Rs. 35,70,000/- (C-172 - 17,000/-
per hour) Including ground training & flying on Single engine 200hrs.
Initial payment for CPL Rs.1, 70,000/- for the ground training. And further
flying fees have to be paid during SPL in installments.
Approximate cost of CPL + Bsc Aviation would be around Rs 37,53,450/-
(including ground training, flying on Single engine for 200 hours plus Bsc
fees for three years).
Initial payment for B.SC + CPL Rs. 2,31,150/- (ground training + 1st year Bsc
Aviation) has to be made. And further flying fees have to be paid during SPL
and further in installments.
*Flying fees are subject to change due to variation in fuel rates.
Single and Multiple engine Flying Training: The Bombay Flying Club
provides Multi Engine flying Training at Rs. 39,000/- (5,85,000 for 15 hour)
Government of India has allotted an Air Field (Gondur Airport) at Dhule near
Nasik for Exclusive use of The Bombay Flying Club to Train our Pilot Students
for Flying. We have all the facilities of maintenance and training over here. This
facilitates unhampered training for our trainee Pilots. Hostel facility is available
at the airfield in town.
B.Sc. Aviation: The Institute of THE BOMBAY FLYING CLUB’S COLLEGE OF
AVIATION offers admission to a Three Year Degree Course leading to the award
of B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from the University of Mumbai. You must have passed
the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by the
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other Examination
recognized as equivalent there to having passed in Physics and Mathematics.
Flight Simulator Training: Simulator provides a secure environment for
learning critical safety skills and teaching extreme handling and emergency
procedures at the lowest possible cost & risk. They all add up to a complete
Flight Training center for use by Flight schools, FBO’s Commuters, cargo,
airlines, Corporate, Air Taxis and Charter Operators. The Simulator Instructors
are approved by D.G.C.A.
Hobby Flying: Introducing exclusive flying program for busy executives and
professionals who have a passion for flying. BFC enables you to pursue flying
with a convenient & personalized course over the weekend schedule. The
schedule is designed to make you a Private Pilot License (PPL) holder on just
weekends. This program is conducted at BFC's best in class facility located in
Mumbai. As a part of the BFC program you get to fly the worlds latest & safest
brand new training aircraft Cessna Sky hawk – 172R, equipped with Garmin
1000 glass cockpit at India’s first & leading flying Academy .

ADMISSONS ARE OPEN
Installments for course:
- Initial payment (First Installment) for CPL Rs.1, 70,000/- for the ground
training.
- Initial Payment (First Installment) for Bsc Aviation + CPL would be
around Rs . 2,31,150/- for the ground training and 1st year B.Sc Aviation fees.
- Second Installment (for CPL Or B.Sc + CPL) SPL Examination Fees i.e
12,75,000/- (One hour charge is 17 000/-) (75 hours Fees)
- The Remaining charges can be paid in 10 hourly basis on a flexible EMI
The Total cost for CPL 35,70,450/- (including ground training, flying on Single
engine for 200 hours).
The Total cost for B.Sc + CPL 37,53,450/- (including ground training, flying on
Single engine for 200 hours plus Bsc fees 61,150/- for three years).
- Multi Engine flying Training at Rs. 5,85,000/- (for 15 hour one hour charge
is 39,000/-)
Ground classes happen in Mumbai here, we provide a Paying guest list where you can approach as per
your requirement, whereas flying training happens at Dhule there we have hostel facility 8500/- for room
& 6500/- for food.
