SRS OF STUDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION:
The main objective of our software is to maintain Student details , attendance
and student marks . The information is stored for maintaining records.
1.1 Purpose:
This SRS document will be describing characteristics of Student
Management System. The intended audience will be students who have
registered in our software.
1.2 Scope:
Everyday function like student entry, activities, assignment records of
various student departments can be easily performed. The software
should be easily accessible by student and easily manageable by teacher.
1.3 Document Conventions:
The document is prepared using Microsoft Word 2010 and has used the
font type 'Times New Roman'. The fixed font size that has been used to
type this document is 14pt and for headings 18pt with1.5 line spacing. It
has used the bold property to set the headings of the document. All pages
except the cover page are numbered, the numbers appear on the lower
right-hand corner of the page. Every image and data table are number
and referred to the in the main text.
1.4 Intended Audience
The intended audience of this document would be the client and specific
employee like H.O.D and Teachers and student of the collage and project
team, supervisor with the objective to refer and analyse the information.
The SRS document can be used in any case regarding the requirements of
the project and the solutions that have been taken. The document would
finally provide a clear idea about the system that is building.
1.5 Additional Information:
Student Management System can be used by entering respective
username and password. It is accessible by student, teacher and
management. Only the respective teacher can add data to the database.
Dats is retrieved easily. The interface is very user friendly.

2. Overall Description
A student management system is used to manages all the details about a
Student his/her performance, achievements, attendance and other
records. It manages overall details of the students so that they cam be
observed by the faculty or parents on the time of evaluation.

The student management System is a Self-Contained system that manages
activities of student as of the class placement , roll assignment, Time table
scheduling And other issues.

The system will be used in collage. The Teachers, Students will be the main
users. Given the condition that not all the users are computer-Literate.
Some users may need special guidance.

other software components or applications with which it must peacefully
coexist.
