MACD Information
❖ This guide provides insight into MACD capabilities for AT&T’s SD-WAN with Cisco
offering. AT&T’s SD-WAN with Cisco offer utilizes the same MACD processes
established for AT&T’s Managed Router Service (MRS), so any references to MRS
within the documentation and supporting tools are acceptable.

AT&T’s SD-WAN with Cisco service offering utilizes Cisco (formerly
Viptela) technology at the edge, which can be combined with a variety
of global network connectivity options, that provides customers with
end-to-end application performance and availability.

AT&T SD-WAN with Cisco MACD Overview
➢ Upon successful turn-up of AT&T’s SD-WAN with Cisco
service, customers can easily submit move, add, change and
disconnect (MACD) requests via AT&T’s Business Center
portal to manage their service. The portal provides access
to the CR Web tool which allows customers (or approved
AT&T sales partners) to submit MACD requests which
ultimately get routed to the assigned AT&T Managed
Solutions Implementation Manager (MSIM) for processing.
➢ Although the portal is the preferred method, customers
and/or AT&T Sales partners can also reach out to the
assigned AT&T Managed Solutions Implementation
Manager (MSIM) directly via email or phone.
➢ AT&T’s MSIM ensures the appropriate MACD support
resources are engaged and manages prompt completion of
the request.

MACD Types and Target Processing Intervals / Objectives
Logical MACD requests are delivered by AT&T as a result of a formal request submitted via the Business Center
portal’s CR Web tool or direct engagement of the MSIM. Standard Services include the following MACD activities:
➢ Device Configuration
➢ Application of Policies (Device/User/Security)
➢ Field installation
Changes are scheduled based on complexity:
Complex Logical Standard lifecycle request for multiple features or configuration changes on a single device or mass configuration Completion within Ten
