HTML (Hypertext markup language )

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It is a markup

language used to create and structure web pages. HTML provides
the basic building blocks for web pages, such as headings,
paragraphs, links, and images.
An HTML document consists of a series of HTML elements, each
enclosed in angle brackets <>. These elements can be either
nested within one another or stand alone.
The basic structure of an HTML document consists of the
following elements:
1. <!DOCTYPE html>: This is the declaration that identifies
the document as an HTML document.
2. <html>: This is the root element of an HTML document.
3. <head>: This element contains information about the
document, such as the title and any links to external
resources.
4.<title>: This element is used to specify the title of the
document, which appears in the browser’s title bar.
5. <body>: This element contains the visible content of the
document.
Within the <body> element, various HTML tags can be used to
structure the content, such as:
1. <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, etc.: These elements are used to create
headings of different levels.
2. <p>:This element is used to create paragraphs of text.
3. <a>: This element is used to create hyperlinks to other web
pages or resources.
4. <img>: This element is used to insert images into the
document.
HTML is a fundamental skill for web development, and it is often
combined with other technologies, such as CSS and JavaScript,
to create more complex and interactive web pages.
