Candidate: Good morning. Thank you for inviting me. Nice to be here.

Interviewer: We've reviewed your application and resume, and we'd like to learn more about
your qualifications and experience. Can you tell us about your background in nursing?

Candidate: Of course... introduce my name Mrs. Riris Nur Hidayati, I have worked as a nurse
for the last 2 years. I graduated from Stikes. Elizabeth. Experience in various healthcare settings,
including hospitals and clinics. I have worked with diverse patient populations, including
medical-surgical, pediatric, and geriatric patients.

Interviewer: That's impressive. Can you describe your experience in providing patient-centred
care

Candidate: Patient-centered care is at the core of my nursing practice. I believe in building


strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring their voices are heard, and
involving them in the decision-making process. I prioritize their comfort, safety, and overall
well-being. By actively listening to and attending to each other's needs, I strive to provide them
with the best possible care and support.

Interviewer: How do you handle challenging situations or conflicts within the healthcare team?

Candidate: In healthcare teams, collaboration is critical. When facing challenges or conflicts, I


believe in open communication and mutual respect. I actively listen to other people's
perspectives, seek to understand their viewpoints, and work together to find solutions. I value
teamwork and believe that by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, we can
overcome challenges and provide the highest level of care for our patients.

Interviewer: Can you give an example of a time when you had to work with a difficult patient or
family member? How do you handle this situation?

Candidate: Of course. In my previous role, I met with family members of patients who were
experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety because of their loved one's condition. I approach
situations with empathy and listen actively. I take the time to address their concerns, provide
clear explanations of the patient's treatment plan, and offer emotional support. By demonstrating
compassion and understanding, I am able to build trust and reduce their anxiety, resulting in a
more positive experience for family members and patients.

Interviewer: How do you stay current on the latest trends and advances in nursing practice?
Candidate: As a dedicated nurse, I understand the importance of continuous learning and
professional development. I regularly attend conferences, workshops, and webinars to stay
updated with the latest research and advances in nursing. I am an active member of a
professional nursing organization, where I engage in discussions and networking opportunities
with fellow nurses. Additionally, I prioritize reading nursing journals and staying informed about
evidence-based practice to ensure I am providing the most up-to-date and effective care for my
patients.

Interviewer: Finally, do you have any questions for us?

Candidate: Yes, I do. Can you tell me more about the nursing unit or department I will be
working in? What is the patient population like, and what are the challenges?

Interviewer: Our nursing unit specializes in medical surgical nursing and mainly serves
postoperative patients. Some of the main challenges we face include complaints from patients
and their families.

for professional development and growth within your organization. Can you tell us more about
any programs or support available to nurses in terms of continuing education or career
advancement?

Interviewer: Of course. We have a strong professional development program that includes
