Preamble : In the context of globally competitive environment and kaleidoscopic changes in the 21st
century, management effectiveness is vital for success in the corporate world. An efficient
manager may be able to work well without wasting time or resources. However, only an
effective manager will be able to produce the desired result and take the company forward.
Developing effective managerial skills in tune with the times is the urgent need of business
organizations everywhere. A manager should know how to improve not only his own
effectiveness, but that of (i) his subordinates, (ii) his peers or co-managers, as well as that
of (iii) his superiors.
Objective : Designed for senior and middle level managers, the seminar focuses on how efficiency can
be elevated to a higher level of effectiveness. A clear understanding of this concept can lead
to a more effective style of management and improved overall team performance, resulting
in better profitability and progress for the company.

Faculty : Prof.Thomas Oommen, Soft skills Coach & Corporate Trainer. He had been a University
teacher for 28 years in India and Libya.
Fee : Rs.1600/- per participant inclusive of Service Tax. Concession for Member 10%, Patron
Member 20%. Fee includes course fee, cost of reading material, lunch & refreshments. The
cheque may please be drawn in the name of ‘Ahmedabad Management Association.’’
