LEARNING OBJECTIVE/ At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to
SUCCESS CRITERIA  recognise and explain a network as a graph.
LEARNING AND  Teacher introduces graph, network, dot/vertex and line/edge of a graph.
FACILITATION (PdPC)  Teacher explains the meaning of simple graph and the meaning of multiple edges and
loops of a graph.
 Pupils are asked to determine the set of edges, number of edges, set of vertices and sum
of degrees of each simple graph and graph with multiple edges and loops.
 Teacher provides some information in simple graph and graphs with multiple edges and
loops on white board.
 Pupils do exercises from the textbook.
