I) Read the story and answer the following questions.
Introduction of tens and ones.
One day Mini invited all her friends that are the
numbers to have lunch at her house. But all the
numbers started to play in a park outside Mini’s
house and they all became very tired. Mini asked
them to sit and take a rest. So all the numbers sat
on the chair.1,2,3,4,5,6 also sat on the chairs.
Numbers 7,8,9 also sat on the chairs. But when it came to the turn of number
10, it was not able to sit on the chair. When 1 used to sit 0 used to fall, when 0
tried to sit 1 fell. Everyone started to laugh. Then Mama came and said Mini,10
has two numbers in it. So it cannot sit on one chair. She gave them one more
chair. And then number 10 also took some rest.

Ordinal numbers story
The animals in the jungle gathered for a meeting. Do you know why? Because
they felt that there is no fun in the jungle these days. They wanted to have
some fun. So the animals gave various
suggestions and king lion liked celebrating
the sports day as the best idea.
Because every animal like sports. Then king
lion sent an invitation to all the animals to
be a part of the Sports Day celebration and
the event that was going to be held was a
running race. The giraffe, lion, deer,
elephant, bear monkey, and even the
tortoise wanted to participate in the race. A
total of 10 animals participated in the race. All the animals ran as fast as they
could, the deer, the elephant, and even the monkey. As the race proceeded,
look! Who reached the finishing line first? Oh! it was the lion followed by the
deer, and then the zebra and the rest of the animals. Look who were the
winners. The lion came first, the deer came second and the zebra came third.
All the animals cheered the winners. And the winners were also very happy. At
last they had some real fun in the jungle.
