Writing Activity
Writing Activity 1. Email letter to a friend.
You are the editor of a university magazine. You need to write a 3-paragraph article about people’s
“Bucket list”. Tell your readers the things you have/haven’t done; places you have/haven’t visited;
etc.
Answer activity 1
Dear friend:

I want to tell you the wishes that people have yearned for me; they want to lose weight, they want to learn
English, they want to go for a walk every day, they want to exercise, they want to travel; I'll also tell you that
I've done some things, including going out dancing, spending time with my son, in case you didn't know, I
have a son and my husband, we've gone out to eat ice cream, we've wanted to go eat but haven't yet done,
we want to try the shrimp, I also tell you that we have visited the giant hand that is located in Huila, we have
visited the city of Bogotá, I have not visited the Llano, nor have I visited Tolima but I know that at some point
we will to do. Not being what I want to tell you anymore but as soon as we do something I'll tell you.

Speaking Activity
Activity: Talk about the past.
1. Prepare your ideas and talk about your childhood. Include things you did and things you
haven’t done yet.

My name is LEILY LISED RODRIGUEZ PATIÑO, I did many things during my childhood, I played ball, we played
dolls with my cousins, we sang with my sister, we played hairdressing, I also got to participate in a band
where I played the clarinet, the guacharaca, the cymbals, I studied at the Antonio Nariño school, I studied a
Technician at the Sena while I was in ninth, tenth and eleventh grade; then I went to study at the Sena de
Girardot where I did a Technologist which was Business Management, I currently work at the Municipal
Mayor's Office of Apulo, I am studying Business Administration and what I have not done yet and what I want
to do is promote to a good job, have a little more knowledge of the topics that I am seeing and that I have
not yet seen in classes, I want to travel and see new places; I hope and aspire to achieve it.
