About The Department School of Engineering and Technology

The Department of Electronics and Communication University Institute of Engineering and


Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 1996 to
Technology (UIET)
impart state-of-the-art and quality education, training, and
research in the field of Electronics and Communication
Engineering and allied areas. The department offers a
Bachelor’s program (B.Tech.) with an initial intake of 66
students, Integrated M.Sc Electronics with an intake of 33
students and a Diploma program in Electrical Engineering
with an initial intake of 30 students.
Well, Equipped Labs and the infrastructure are regularly
upgraded not only to serve the purpose of the curriculum Admission Brochure
prescribed but also facilitate to carry out innovative
projects to challenge the fast-changing needs of the society for
besides undertaking R&D activities in various fields.
Department provides a very informal atmosphere between Master of Technology (M. Tech.) Program
faculty and students. Faculty members of the department
are not only engaged in trending technology research but
in
are also very passionate about the teaching and learning Electronics and Communication
process.
Faculty and students of ECE are encouraged to do NPTEL Engineering
certifications in various subjects.

About The Course

University Institute of Engineering and Technology


(UIET) introduces 2 Year P.G. program - M. Tech. in
Electronics and Communication Engineering from the
academic session 2023 – 2024, with a vision to create
competent and skilled Engineers with sound Technical
knowledge and innovativeness. After completing the course
the students can make their careers in Electronics and
Communication Engineering industry or can become an
entrepreneur. They can work as their individual capacity as
