Color
BALANCE
Color balance is an
adjustment that affects
the overall mixture of
colors in an image. The
goal of color balance is
usually to achieve realistic
and accurate colors.
Color
BLENDING
The Color blend mode is actually a
combination of the first two modes in
the Composite group, Hue and
Saturation. When you change a layer's
blend mode to Color, only the color (that
is, all of the hues and their saturation
values) from the layer is blended in with
the layer or layers below it. The Color
blend mode is perfect for when you
want to add or change the colors in an
image without changing the brightness
values
Cropping
CROPPING
The word Crop can be defined
as “to trim” or “cut back”. The
Crop tool in most image
processing programs is used to
trim off the outside edges of a
digital image. Cropping can be
used to make an image smaller
(in pixels) and/or to change the
aspect ration (length to width) of
the image.
Compression &
RESIZING
Image compression is a process
applied to a graphics file to
minimize its size in bytes without
degrading image quality below
an acceptable threshold. By
reducing the file size, more
images can be stored in a given
amount of disk or memory
space.
Combining
MULTIPLE IMAGE
Combining image is one
of photographic
technique of using the
two or more images in
conjunction with one
another to create a
single image.
6 different pictures combined into one
Adjusting
BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST
Brightness increases the
overall lightness of the
image—for example,
making dark colors lighter
and light colors whiter—
while contrast adjusts the
difference between the
darkest and lightest colors.
