Promotion of Digital Payment System has been paramount over the past few years
with innovative steps by the Government towards its Digital India initiative. With the
advancement of Data Connectivity at cheaper rate and its usage, Digitcil Payments
system has reached into the far flung areas of the Nation as well.

> Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govi. of India allots
merchant on-boarding Target to Bank every Financial Year. Currently, Bank has
been allotted a target of 1,11,693 merchant on-boarding for FY 2022-23.

> ln line with the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Indian Banks' Association
(IBA) has advised the Bank to share its strategy to on-board small merchants/
traders doing 100% Digital Transactions.

> Convenience of Digital Payments has resulted in the demand of Digital Payment
Acceptance system by merchants. This digital boom in Payment Systems has
opened up a huge space for the Bank to expand its base into the Merchant
Acquiring business and Customer acquisition as well.

4. Link based Payment Charaes to Merchants: Annexure-1 (Enclosed)

¢ Recovery of charaes:
> For Charges (Point 1 to 3): Charges will be recovered centrally at Head Office
level.

> For Charges (Point 4): The charges will be deducted from the merchant
settlement amount before crediting to merchant account.

¢ Settlement cycle:

Upl transaction details will be visible in the UCO Bank Merchant App but the
amount will be credited to merchant's account on cumulative basis in the below
mentioned cycles:

> 2nd Cycle: For transaction done between 3:00 pin to 12:00 am the settlement is
done by 9:30 am next day morning.

> 3rd Cycle: Bank is exploring the possibilities to settle the amount more often to the
merchant account.

upgrading its Digital payment offerings for merchants.

•:. At present, UCO Bank merchant app is available in English plus 09 regional
Languages. More languages will be introduced in due course.
