Human Resources Coordinator Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for providing HR support to the facility associates, and management team and for the performance of
administrative duties as required by management. This position will work closely with the leadership team and the HR manager while
serving as a key contributor across various administrative functions within HR.

Essential Functions of the Job

 Act as the first point of contact for the warehouse staff and respond to all administrative questions related to HR, Payroll and
benefit inquiries.
 Conduct new hire orientation.
 Manage administrative processes including performance review deadlines, benefits administration and company training
tracking spreadsheet.
 Communicate human resource policies and procedures.
 Handle the administration and coordination of associate communications, brief management and employees using verbal and
written communications.
 Administer time and attendance and submit for weekly hourly payroll submission.
 Schedule, organize and help facilitate associate communication meetings.
 Manage Temporary Agency relationships and programs.
 Maintain Personnel files and various trackers for administrative purposes.
 Prepare first report of injury for workers compensation and work closely with team to manage work comp claims.
 Actively support the staffing and recruiting effort for the facility by creating and posting hourly jobs, reviewing applications,
scheduling, and participating in interviews, conducting assessments and coordinating pre-employment screening.
 Promote positive associate relations by coordinating recognition programs and events

Skills & Abilities

 1-3 years of HR administrative experience.


 Experience with HRMS and time keeping systems (Kronos and Workday is a plus).
 Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 Experience with Workers Comp and OSHA reporting.
 This position serves as the ambassador for the company and its unique culture and must be approachable, self-motivated, and
highly focused on maintaining positive associate relations,
 Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality required.
 Associates Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent experience a plus.

Required Education and Experience

 Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.


 High school diploma or equivalent.
 Computer proficiency.
 Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Education and Experience

 Further education, such as an Associate’s (AA) degree.


 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related inventory management systems.
 Previous experience in a warehouse environment or in inventory control.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy. Doors near the working areas are frequently open, causing drafts and interior
temperature changes. Interior floors near entrances and exits may become slippery during wet weather conditions. Passing forklifts
emit gas fumes. Upon certification to operate lifting equipment, associate may operate a piece of equipment using electric voltage. The
position may require working in a non-temperature-controlled environment warehouse, meaning the indoor warehouse temperature
fluctuates throughout each season.

Summary
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for helping maintain all inventory processes and working through any and
all inventory discrepancies on a daily basis. This position will involve the utilization of order management systems and
various types of material-handling equipment. The Inventory Control Associate is accountable for performing their duties
consistently with the values and mission of Saddle Creek Corporation.
What You’ll Do:

 Assist customer on all inventory-related issues and acts between the customer and Saddle Creek by answering
questions, offering solutions, and researching issues in a timely and professional manner.
 Keep accurate, detailed and up-to-date data, logs, and inventory records in the interest of the customer and
Saddle Creek.
 Process customer return orders in a timely and accurate basis according to customer request.
 Assist in coordinating all special inventory projects between the customer and Saddle Creek personnel.
 Communicate with the customer verbally and in writing with a professional and positive attitude.
 Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
 Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
What We Need from You:

 Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

 Must be able to perform any physically exerting aspects of the position in a non-temperature controlled
warehouse environment, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates throughout each season.
 Computer proficiency.
 Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

 Further education, such as an Associate’s (AA) degree.


 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related inventory management systems.
 Previous experience in a warehouse environment or in inventory control.
 Previous experience in a busy warehouse, office, or similar environment.
