CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

This study represented a conceptual framework about the level of students media

literacy and how it affects their academic proficiency. For some instances, media in

different levels requires depth understanding along with media challenges they

experience. The media has been shown to triggered the mindset of students and influence

their individual perspective in several activities they encountered, particularly negative

perception like self confuse, decreasing the level of critically evaluate and interpret

information in the media. For this purpose, the researcher's utilized Likert scale survey

questionnaire through utilizing Google form for respondent data gathering, getting the

degree of impact of media towards the academic proficiency and will be its basis for the

proposing program. Thus, the researchers constructed the following figure to emphasize

the variables used in the current study.
