Collage Making
1) Ask your mother guardian or other siblings to read this story.
A Day at the Park
I visited a park with my friend one Saturday. It was a very big park. As we entered the park, I was amazed
by the colorful flowers. There were lots of plants and trees and the ground had grasses all over. Birds were chirping
everywhere. There were many swings and slides for children. There was a beautiful pond nearby with ducks and
frogs. At the middle of the park was a food stall decorated with colorful balloons. There were oranges, apples,
candies, cookies, juices, etc. We bought ice cream and popcorn to munch on. Beside the stall was a man grilling
some hotdogs and barbeques. The smoke coming from the grill made us even more hungry. The man told us that he
can sell up to 1 500 hotdogs in a day for many people went there in the morning or even in the evening. Everyone
loved the beautiful view of the park.

2) Choose at least 3 objects from the story. (1solid, 1liquid, 1 gas)


3) Make a collage using different materials available at home.
4) Describe you work by using simple/compound sentences.
5) Using number discs of 1000 and 100, visualize the number that you had heard in the story.
