assessment was conducted, instruments used and number of samples/workers to
be assessed
3.0 RESULTS
3.1 Results of Musculoskeletal Assessment
Musculoskeletal assessment was conducted among 10 workers in different work
tasks. Based on the results (Figure 1), five main body parts significantly
affected including upper arms (6 workers complaint), neck and upper back (4
workers), lower back, forearms and wrists (2 workers complaint) and shoulders
(1 worker complaint).

4.0 CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION

Based on Initial ERA results, the worker was exposed to static and sustain work posture risk.
Thus, it is recommended to carry out advanced ERA on posture assessment using RULA
method.

Additional recommendations:
1. Providing variety in jobs / job rotation
2. Adjusting work schedules and work pace
3. Providing recovery time (i.e., muscle relaxation time)
4. Modifying work practices
5. Encouraging exercise (e.g. Physical Exercise Program)
6. Awareness training and education
7. Medical Prevention Program
