Dear customer,

With this info bulletin we want to inform you that the wiring loom main connector will change in a short period of
time.

What:
The new main connector is different on the following points:
- Different brand; the new brand is “Tyco”
- Different construction; please find the differences in the pictures and information below.
- Contacts/pins are different; pay attention to this when adding extra modules/wires to the new
connector/loom.

Contact JPT (big contact/pin) Contact MQS (small contact/pin)


REMARK 1: The new connector can be recognized by the different connector cap (no Bosch written on the cap and
on the side) and the locking is yellow instead of pink.

REMARK 2: During transition, the wire modules both have contacts/pins in the packaging, so it can be used for
both Bosch and Tyco connector.

Adding or removing a wire/wire-module:

When?
The new main connector will be applied on the first wiring looms in the beginning of May. In the following
months, all the wiring looms will be provided with the new connector.
