shelters and rescue groups in streamlining their animal adoption procedures and enhancing the
exposure of their available animals. The authors talk about the creation of a web-based system that
enables animal shelters and rescue groups to manage animal profiles, monitor adoption requests, and
get in touch with prospective adopters. This system has functions including a search function for animals
and automatic email alerts for adoption application submissions. The authors point out that by making

PAWSSION is a relatively new cloud-based animal shelter management system developed for animal
welfare organizations in the Philippines. It offers a range of features including animal intake, animal
management, adoption management, donation management, and volunteer management. The system is
also equipped with an online portal that allows potential adopters to view available animals and apply
for adoptions online. Additionally, the system includes a mobile app that enables staff to manage shelter
operations from their smartphones.
