Project Buck Converter PDF

The document summarizes the design of a buck converter with the following parameters: - Input voltage from 3 PV panels connected in series ranging from 40-60V. - Output voltage of 14.4V to charge a 12V lithium battery. - Switching frequency of 40kHz. It provides the calculations to determine the key components of the buck converter including: the duty cycle, inductor value, wire size, output capacitance, and snubber circuit values. The design aims to charge a lithium battery from photovoltaic panels using a buck converter.
