Calculation by Equivalent Static Method

The document provides load combinations and load patterns for structural design according to Indian Standard Code IS 1893:2016. It lists dead loads, live loads, wind loads and seismic loads. It then provides factored and unfactored load combinations for the given load patterns according to the code. Load combinations include terms for dead, live, wind, horizontal and vertical earthquake loads with appropriate load factors. Distribution of base shear for seismic analysis is also specified according to another standard NNBC 205.
