Emotional component

Attitude is a emotion or feeling about something which is expressed through either positive or negative
outlook. It can be expressed in terms of preference towards a product or service. People's emotions
towards a product can vary from supportive to unsupportive with varying degrees of intensity .

7.Affects Human behaviour

Attitude affects purchase decisions and provide experiences to a particular product or service. A
consumer may either have positive attitude or negative attitude towards the product or service. The
consumers who possess positive attitude tends to analyze things favourably. While, the consumers who
possess negative attitude may always see negativity and complain about their situations and surroundings

8.Direct experience

Attitude is a reflection of the past experiences and can be more accurately used to anticipate future
behavior. Thus, It have a direct experience and provides greater insight to the product or service.

9.Defines consumer attitudes

Attitude is a combination of personality, beliefs, values, behaviors and motivations. Collectively, all these
components create a unique set of characteristics which describe the attitude of a consumer. Every
individual has a distinct attitude that contributes to their individuality. It not only impacts the decisions
but also helps to evaluate other individuals.

10.Attitudes are situational

Attitudes are situation specific because it gives information about how to react ,approach and tackle a
certain situation. It also plays a role in deciding our behaviour towards a person, place or product.
