PRE-LESSON: (10 minutes)
1. Pupils’ prior knowledge is activated with a few questions about their experience with social media websites and their profiles.
2. Pupils brainstorm a list of words related to the topic of social media websites.
3. All the words are written on the board.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (40 minutes)


1. Pupils turn to Full Blast page 13 and look at Section A. Pupils look at the layout of the text and guess what it is (a personal webpage).
2. Pupils read through the webpage and write on their vocabulary book any unknown words at the same time.
3. A few pupils are selected to read aloud the text.
4. Pupils read through the questions and answer them. Answers are checked as a class.
5. Pupils move on to Section B and read the categories and choose a few and write notes about what they include about themselves.
6. A few pupils share what they have chosen to write about themselves.
7. Pupils proceed to Section C and read through the questions. Pupils then work in pairs to share their ideas from Section B. (Main Skill)
8. Pupils go on to Section D and read the TIPS section.
9. Pupils create their own personal webpage based on their own notes using Ahmad’s webpage as guidance. (Complementary Skill)
10. A few pupil read aloud their own personal webpage of about 2 paragraphs.

POST-LESSON: (10 minutes)


1. In pairs, pupils discuss at least one new word/phrase that they have learnt today. (Self/Peer Assessment)
2. Teacher collect responses from pupils. (Lollipop sticks)
3. Teacher sums up today’s lesson.
