1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


As we know, business opportunity is the important things people should grab to start a
new business to generate our own income as a manager business or owner of the business.
Business opportunity is the main reason for someone to create our own business as a well-
known business in the future. Business opportunities should be taken by people who are
interested in business and have knowledge in business management before starting their own
business. Before start a own business, we should have a business plan that include all about
entrepreneur knowledge, submit all ideas in starting a business and I will explain in this
report.

For the first point that entrepreneur should take care is the customer. The target for the
market is customer. The customer segment is the important things for the business market of
a business to ensure that the business runs smoothly. This is the marketing plan that improve
or run my business. The example, I aim to sell my product for housewives because this
product can easily help them for prepare the food. But, after doing more analysis that this
product mostly suitable for all age level from kid, teenager, adult and senior citizen. Besides,
value proposition also the important things in profit on behalf of traders and customers. This
can be satisfy for seller and customer. I am very caring about customer evaluation from value
aspect and quality aspect.

Secondly, for sale my product, I should have a distribution channel that a chain for
my product successfully sold. This plan can easily help my business management by helping
sell products that make by my company. From that, I can know that my product was accepted
by customers or otherwise through my distribution channel. Relationship with customer is
important to attract the customer for buy my product because customers are not only
interested in a product because of its quality but also in the merchant. When we show a good
services, they will enjoy in dealing with us. Hereby, they will speak good things about the
company and its product.
For next, there have more type of key that needed to be in business opportunity which
is key activities, resource and partner to keep make this business runs. The last, I will explain
the cost structure to revolve this business included financial planning.

2.0 INTRODUCTION

Freeze Food Enterprise is a food services business that provides services for food that
make people easy to get and prepared it that will be establish in summer 2020. This business
have big chance and potential to be develop.

2.1 Product Description

Frozen food like curry-puff and pau are a traditional Malaysian that kuih filling by many
flavour like curry, chocolate, sardine, kaya and others. These foods are made by hand and
production machines that come with various shapes and sizes. The most popular ones are the
button and ban. Traditionally, it is baked with hot charcoal. It makes the taste more crispy
edges and soft inside.
2.2 Purpose of Business Plan

1. The Entrepreneurs (Freeze Food Enterprise Managers)

To better understand the purpose of the business and act as guideline to manage the
business creatively, effectively and efficiently.

2. Financial Institutions

Guide and help the financial institution to evaluate the capability of the propose
project and provide loan for the business. Financial institution that involved in this business
project is Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).

3. Suppliers

Suppliers of this product will help our business venture thus benefiting both of the
suppliers and our company in the long term business arrangement.

4. Company Staffs / Workers

Help workers to understand the business’s goals and objectives and give a guideline
to them regarding their job duties and responsibilities. Our workers’ will do their job
effectively, smartly and patiently.

5. Customers

This product suitable for all ages of people. So, persuade and influence our customers
regarding the product being offered and give encourage and confidence to them to have
interact with our business. The main objectives for the development Freeze Food Enterprise
are to focus on fresh product supply and fast made product. To be main frozen food supplier
in this country, we need to serve the product in a good quality and according to customer’s
taste. We will grow and development our product by adding more types of food and core in
those foods. With this, we can attract more customers because of many selection and type of
frozen food.

Partnership is important for development a new business to support in term of finance

This business we target to run for the 20 years depends on economy and request from the
customers. If one of the partnership died, stop from share and refuse to perform his
obligation, this will render the partnership avoidable. We are all come with the mutual
agreement in relation to the sharing of information, trust each other and decision making

3.5 BENEFITS OF THE PARTNERS
3.5.1 Fringe Benefit

In our business, we also provide fringe benefit to the employees. It is to ensure our
employee’s welfare will be protected and get the benefit. These are some fringe benefits that
provided by our business such as sick leaves, annual leaves, maternity leaves emergency
leaves.

Sick Leaves
- Our business provides sick leaves for employees that worked less than 2 years for 14
days, 2 years until 5 years for 18 days and more than 5 years for 22 days.
Annual Leaves
- We are providing annual leaves for employees that have worked less than 2 years for
8 days, 2 years until 5 years for 12 days and more than 5 years for 16 days.
Maternity Leaves
- Our female employees also entitled to maternity leaves for a period of not less than
sixty consecutive days.
Emergency Leaves
- For emergency leaves, we will give the permission to our employees to take leave
with a valid reason only such as death, accident and so on.

2.5.2 Mandatory Benefit

This benefit is very important to our business. It also compulsory gives to the partner and
every staff. This benefit was started in Employment Act 1955 and regulation.

Employees Provident Fund (EPF)


- EPF is compulsory to be provided by the employer to every employee, as stated in the
Employment Act 1955.
- 13% from the employee’s salary will be deducted for contribution.

Social Security Organization (SOCSO)


- This benefit is also given to the employees because SOCSO is an organization that
gives protection to the employees from any circumstances such as accident before
working hour, during working hour and after working hour.
- If there is any incident happened to any staff, they may claim the SOCSO from the
employer as stated in Employment Act 1955.
- 2.5% will be deducted from the employee’s salary for contribution.

Leaves
- This benefit has stated in Employment Act 1955 where employees may take leaves
for any circumstances as implemented by the employer.

Market size refers to the total potential purchase of target market.
Our market size is calculated based on the total of population in Malacca
citizens.

According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia, the number of


population in the Malacca area is approximately 870,000 peoples. Our business
estimated 1% from the number of total population will come to Freeze Food
Enterprise to purchase our product.

The calculation for our market size:-

 Population in Malacca
= 870,000 peoples

 Number of people who come to buy ‘Freeze Food’


= 1% x 870,000
= 8,700 people

 Number of customers per month


= 8,700 people ÷ 12 months
= 725 people / month

So, the potential buyer of our product is at least 8,700 peoples


per year. We expected the number of the potential buyer will increase
over year.
