HENRY AYERS SCHOLARSHIP

Background

Established by Mr & Mrs Sydney Ayers in memory of their son, Henry Earnest Ayers, a
Preparatory School boarder (1922–1926) who died suddenly during the summer holidays in
January 1926.

First awarded in 1927

Details

The Scholarship is awarded to a Year 7 student of St Peter’s College.

The Selection Committee consists of three members; the Head of Middle Years, along with
two old scholars appointed by the Committee of the St Peter’s Collegians’ Association
Incorporated.

In making its recommendation for the award of the Scholarship, the Selection Committee
takes into consideration:

(i) his academic results throughout the year and overall GPA for 2022
(ii) his ability and involvement in School sports and Co-curricular Activities (iii)
his general character, behaviour, and Effort Grades
