The hazard map of Barangay San Isidro shows that most of the land area is at low risk for landslides, as it is colored yellow on the map and the land is flat. However, some areas near rivers like Purok Upper and Lower Matibay have higher landslide risk and are colored red. While most of the barangay has low flood risk, some areas near irrigation systems like GSC SPED Integrated School, Purok Naval, Purok Neire, Purok Malesido and Purok Ma. Theresa are at higher risk of flooding, as shown in pink on the map.

INTERPRETATION OF HAZARD MAP OF BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO

Base on the hazard map I have from Barangay SAN ISIDRO. It shows that their
barangay is not in at risk if we are talking about landslide and flood disaster, because mostly
or almost of their land area are under in a yellow color, which means those area are in low
landslide susceptibility while those are that in a high landslide susceptibility are under in
red color and those area are found near in the riverbanks like Purok UPPER and LOWER
MATIBAY also Purok KAUNLARAN in which SILWAY RIVER located .But for the rest of the
area landslides is not in a high risk due to its flat form land area.

As what I have seen in their hazard map, it indicates that there are some areas in
Barangay SAN ISIDRO which identified as high susceptibility of flood or under pink color like
GSC SPED INTEGRATED SCHOOL wherein irrigation is nearly located in front of their school,
also Purok NAVAL, Purok NEIRE, Purok MALESIDO and Purok Ma. THERESA where irrigation
is directly located near their subdivision and if heavy rain comes drainage will get filled with
water and it will overflow and caused flood. But still the rest of the area of Barangay SAN
ISIDRO are in a low susceptibility of flood due to its flat form land area far away from
irrigation and mostly of their land area are converted into subdivisions and commercial
establishments
