Slow Down Limits setting

Install all the software in the supplied cd, in


particular “WinscopeApp” and “Winloader”.

Open the software “PCAN-View” in the start menu

In the “Connect” window, select the net “250”


and press ok.

Once selected the connection, you are ready for programming. In the screen, upper half of the window is
dedicated to the messages running on the bus, lower half is dedicated to the messages you can prepare
and send.

You can also load pre-compiled messages from a file with extension *.xmt.

Italgru have prepared 3 files, one for each encoder: Slewing, Main winch and aux winch.

You can open the files by clicking on “File” and “Open” and selecting the appropriate file.

You can send a single one-shot message by selecting it and press the spacer bar on the keyboard. The
counter will be increased each time the message is sent.

In order to view raw encoder value and change the slow down limits, you need to open the tool
“WinscopeApp”.

The first time that you open winscopeapp, you must set the communication options by mean of the
apposite dialog in the Utils menu.

Each Italgru project, has his own configuration package for winscopeapp. You can select it by mean of
the apposite dialog in the Utils menu.

Select the file “CFG.IT” in the winscope folder.

You can find the RAW value from the encoder by selecting “Dworm”

You can scroll back or forward values by mean of the apposite buttons or PagUp or PagDown keys.

Raw encoder values are at the n. 266 for main winch and 267 for whip.

Slow Down Limits setting

Limit values for slow downs, can be found selecting the voice “Dworp”.

Values on the left are for the main winch, values on the right are for the whip.
0 – 10 are the lift slow down direction (0 for decreasing, 1 for increasing)
1 – 11 are the limit value. Copy it from the raw value from encoder in the desired point.
2 – 12 are the slow down percentage. Insert a value from 0 to 100.

VERY IMPORTANT!! – At the end of operations, before power off, remember to save parameters from
the touch screen in any calibration page (e.g. winch.).
