EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Introduction

The majority of chips you'd find in stores are usually made of potato. If

you enjoy eating potato chips as a snack, you likely already know that they're

not the best choice for your health because they might be heavy in fat and

carbohydrates. Now, we introduce the Chips 'n Chill Company which is also

known as “C & C”. It is a partnership-type company that is known for

producing vegetable snacks in the food industry. One of the products which

the company has created is called Crispynach. It has the same flavor and

crunch but is considerably healthier. You may indulge in these chips guilt-

free because our major ingredient, spinach, is not only low in fat and calories

but also high in vitamins A and C.

Parents might get convenient, affordable, and kid-friendly solutions

from the product. Malnutrition and nutritional inadequacies are issues that

this snack meal can help with. The Crispynach now comes in four flavors:

plain, cheese, barbecue, and sour cream. You won't even realize you're

chewing on vegetables because these flavors are added to balance the

entire flavor. These can be eaten as appetizers or just plainly, snacks.

comes to the quality of the product, it will remain as new because the

company’s packaging has zip lock which helps the product to preserve inside

and avoid moisture outside the environment. The company will constantly

need supplier on fresh raw ingredients for the production of Crispynach. In

this part, it displays the stages of product development as well as the

production schedule in pieces and quantity. It also shows the total cost of

manufacture for the items.

In Marketing, the company has various methods for selling the

product. It has stalls open at malls, parks, and even at the airport for those

people who are looking for snacks and souvenir. And, rather than renting and

spending in a new location, the company has decided to sell it in

supermarkets and convenience stores. On the other hand, the company is

engaged on social media. As a result, the goods will be sold on social

networking sites as well. Any method of payment will be accepted, including

The Industrial Analysis

The Chips ‘N Chill Company analyzes a company's competitive

environment using the Porter's Five Forces Framework. The analysis is

further discussed in the chart below.

SUPPLIER Because spinach is available throughout the year, the supplier has low
POWER bargaining power. As a result, the supplier cannot simply limit supply or raise
prices. Furthermore, other ingredients are always accessible on the market.

Even if the product is uncommon and only a few companies offer it

BUYER elsewhere across the nation, the Company nevertheless wants to bring
POWER it to our local market. Hence, the analysis reveals that there is an
average amount of bargaining power.

There is an average rivalry among the rivals. There are few companies
EXISTING that offer this kind of product elsewhere, but our company wants to
COMPETITOR introduce this to the local market. As a result, the company has a good
chance of dominating the market.

THREATS
OF Spinach and other ingredients are usually available in the market and
SUBSTITUTE fairly priced. And, since the process is simple to follow, there is a high
possibility that it will be substituted. However, our product's flavor and
quality remain distinct.

There is a large chance that potential entrants will enter the market due to the
POSSIBILITY
product's delicacy and rarity. Moreover, because the startup costs are low and
OFNEW
ENTRANTS the products can be sold off as "homemade," there is also a high possibility of
starting this kind of business these days.

Players in the Market

Customers

The Chips ‘N Chills Company divides its customers into two

categories: major and minor. The concern that the Company may have with

major consumers is that they may expect large discounts, coupons, and

special treatment. Meanwhile, minor consumers buy less but are still

significant in the company because they can buy a lot in bulk.

Suppliers

Major suppliers are crucial for daily delivery, and a problem with them

might result in delays or product quality concerns due to the large number of

purchases made by other businesses. Meanwhile, minor suppliers are good,

but the problem is that the company cannot place as many orders as

they would want because the supply is insufficient to meet the company's

manufacturing standards.

Complementors

There are also non-competing enterprises that will boost the

company’s sales in general. Because our product is snacks, businesses who

make souvenirs, beverages, and delicacies can engage with us. It will assist

the company in extending the market, which will encourage complementors

to support the company more, which can weaken the competitors.

Competitors

The company's competitors are those who also sell Vegetable Chips.

However, these businesses do not exist in the company's direct vicinity.

Interacting with this organization may have undesirable consequences.

Hence, the company will simply concentrate on how we provide better chips

than the other manufacturer. However, C & C is constantly open to new

alternatives and opportunities for collaboration.

Products and Services available in the market

The Chips ‘N Chills Company produced the most innovative, tasty,

and unique form of chip that will capture the customer's curiosity and leave

them wondering what the taste is. Because malunggay, cassava, spinach,

and saluyot are healthy and inexpensive vegetables, the company comes up

with the idea of turning them into snacks rather than serving them as meals.

This snack is ideal for eating while watching movies, chatting with friends, or

as a merienda or midnight snack.

THE FINANCIAL PLAN

The Financial Narrative

The Chips ‘N Chill Company invests ₱ 35,478.50 on their initial

business. This ₱ 35,478.50 will be used to purchase ingredients for the

production of goods, for rental and utilities, packaging expenses and

machineries and equipment. If the goods are sold in the price that will range

35-70, the company can make ₱ 64,500 revenue in a month. This is enough

to finance its employee’s salary, rental expenses as well as production cost

for the next month.

In this costing, the owners assumed a 10-year useful life for the

machines, with the exception of the stove, which only lasts 5 years, similar to

the tools and equipment. The demand for the product is expected to grow at

a 5% annual rate, and the owners tend to raise their selling price by 2-3

pesos (P2.00-3.00) each year due to the rising cost of raw materials.
