PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. PROJECT IDENTIFICATION
A. Rationale
One of the most crucial elements to becoming everything you can be is being
able to read. Reading to young children helps them improve their language abilities.
Most importantly, it can aid readers in improving both as learners and as people.
They can also gain listening skills as a result.
In order to improve reading aptitude and encourage students at Buyagan
Elementary School to develop good independent reading habits, the implementer
intends to offer its fullest assistance to those struggling students.
Additionally, this project provides opportunities to build relationships
between parents and teachers and to establish school family partnerships that serve
as the foundation for other forms of family involvement in the educational process.
B. Project Description
The remedial teacher and class advisers must conduct s remedial session in
each classroom each day as part of this project. Based on their assessment tool, all
Grade 6 students’ class advisers will decide which students needed remediation. And
a student must attend remedial classes at scheduled times. Using remedial
assessment checklist, class advisers strictly monitored struggling pupils’ reading
improvement.

teachers and parents about the benefits to the students and the objectives of the
project.
III. OBJECTIVES
The project aims to accomplish the following objectives:
1. In order to improve their reading skills of a pupil at risk, assist them.
2. Provide enrichment and development for slow and non readers in order to make
them more proficient readers.
V. PLAN OF ACTIVITES
- Story reading
- Read-A-ton
The project’s actual achievement of its goals will determine whether it was
successful. The project’s outcomes will serve as the foundation for project review,
planning and execution.
The success of the project will be judged against the reading materials that reading
teachers produce. The project owner, Master Teachers, and School Head will all keep
an eye on the project.
