This document is an adoption deed between an adoptive mother and the natural father and mother of a minor boy. The adoptive mother, a widow, wishes to adopt a son as her own since she has no children. The natural father and mother consent to giving their minor son, aged about [number] years, up for adoption. Through this legal document, the minor boy is adopted by the mother and severs all rights and ties to his natural family, acquiring instead all the rights and obligations of an adopted son to his new mother. The natural parents relinquish all claims and rights over the adopted boy.

This DEED OF ADOPTION is executed on this……….day of…………. by

the PARTY OF THE FIRST PART/ ADOPTIVE MOTHER). and

Whereas the party of the first part is a widow her husband died on

Where the PARTY OF THE FIRST PART has no son or son’s son or

son’s son.

WHEREAS the party of the Second Part………………….is the brother of the

party of first and

Whereas the party of the first part a widow has been anxious to adopt a

suitable boy as her son and is willing to take…………………a minor son of the party

of the second part in adoption.

Whereas the party of the second party natural father and mother have no

objection in giving their minor son…………….now aged about……..years in

adoption.

Whereas the party of the first part has on the date of this agreement, taken the

minor boy as adopted boy pursuant to the free and absolute consent given by the

natural father and mother, the party of the second part herein.

And whereas all the ceremonies including the giving and taking in adoption of

the said and other required ceremonies of the parties herein have been duly

performed in the presence of relatives of the parties herein at the time of adoption.

Now this deed witnesseth and the parties herein do hereby declare that the

party of the first part has duly adopted the said………………as her son and
the said ……………………….has been renamed as ----------with all the legal rights of
adopted son.

Therefore this deed declares as under-

1. The parties herein declare that henceforth the said --------- has ceased to be a

member of the family of the party of the second part and he has all the rights of

adopted son of the party of the first part.

2. The parties of the second part the natural father and mother do hereby declare

hence forth shall not claim any sort of right over the adopted boy as the said boy has

been given in adoption to the party of the first part with full consent and the said boy

is hereafter the adopted son of the party of the first part.

3. The said adoptive child ----- severs all rights and liabilities in the natural family and
acquires all rights and is subject to all liabilities in the family of the adoptive mother.

In witness whereof the parties herein have signed this deed on the date, month

and year first have written.
