The Suits

Hearts

The suit of hearts signifies good fortune in all of its power. Thus it represents our love,
happiness, pleasure, joy, laughter, and all that brings good luck. Other meanings can
include family, friends, or even celebrations.

Clubs

The suit of clubs signifies physical work of some kind. Thus it represents our jobs,
businesses, strengths, determination, and the daily grind. Other meanings can include
mundane tasks or daily habits.

Diamonds

The diamonds signify all things of material value. Thus it represents our money, finance,
acquisition of wealth and property. Other meanings can include everything in the
material world, such as buying things or even an exchange of some kind.

Spades

The spades signify bad fortune in all of its powers. Thus it represents our hatred,
confusion, sorrow, pain, failure, difficulties, and all that brings bad luck. Other meanings
can include a loss of some kind, death, funeral, or even an evil spirit or person.

Court Cards

Kings:

● King of Hearts: He is a warmhearted man and is very supportive. He is


emotionally stable and can be stern at times, but also kind and wise. They are a
good giver of advice and sometimes can be depicted as a strong protector. He
could be a loyal friend or lover, and possibly a family member. They can be an
older man 18 years or older.

Power: The ability to arouse positive emotions and feelings; especially in dense or
problematic situations. Could make you feel protected or welcomed.
● King of Clubs: A natural-born leader and hard-working individual. He is well
respected and disciplined. He can appear rugged at times and strict. Could also
be a little stubborn or stern and also appear tough and strong. This could be an
older man 18 years or older.

Power: He has the ability to achieve goals and get where he wants to go. When he
wants to start working on something he is strong-willed and will get the job done.

● King of Diamonds: A very practical, yet unselfish man. He is quite generous but
prudent on what he is spending his money on. Some can see he is quite good at
saving money and may even be wealthy. This could be an older man 18 years or
older.

Power: He has the ability to pay for things without breaking his wallet and to attract
money.

● King of Spades: He is a tyrant and unfairly strict. They can be seen to be


abusers of power and wicked people. This person does not like you and will
cause trouble in your life. Possibly a male witch, or even the Devil himself.

Power: The ability to harm, abuse others, and the power to do evil.

Queens:

● Queen of Hearts: A very loving and caring person, who only wants the best for
you. She is always there to listen to your problems and gives the best support
you need when you are down. She can be emotional and also intuitive and she
could be a lover, family member, or friend. This could be an older woman 18
years or older.

Wisdom: Be kind to those who love you and listen to those you know have your best
interest at heart.

● Queen of Clubs: This could be a woman who is courageous and independent.


They are strong willed, outgoing, and like to keep busy. One might think they
know where they are going and like to keep moving forward when times get
tough. This could be an older woman 18 years or older.
Wisdom: Find time to put in effort to enjoy things in life. Life isn't always about the
mundane and work. Do stuff that makes you happy and stay determined to follow that
goal.

● Queen of Diamonds: Someone who provides for their loved ones. She is
nurturing and takes good care of their friends and family. She is very hospitable
and selfless, but also humble, loving, and nourishing. This could be an older
woman 18 years or older.

Wisdom: Take care of the needs of others before yourself. You may be a little selfish
and need to worry about the problems of other people at times.

● Queen of Spades: This card could represent a woman who is against you and
may not like you. She is a gossiper or two-faced woman who will stab you in the
back. May even be a cheater or a homewrecker. Can be quite bitchy, moody, and
prone to lying. They can be sharp-tongued and always ready to fight. Some
would say this card represents a female witch, widow, or divorcee.

Wisdom: Always look twice before ending a situation or talking to a person. Nothing
burns harsher than a woman's scorn.

Jacks:

● Jack of Hearts: Someone who is artistic, creative, and has a wonderful


imagination. Loves to make people laugh and could be very sensitive.
Sometimes it could represent a beloved pet. They are usually under the age of
18.

Message: This message could signify a love letter, a kiss, a compliment, someone
asking you on a date, or a reunion with a family member or long lost friend.

● Jack of Clubs: Someone who is eager yet impulsive. They could be very
practical and energetic, but can also be someone who is active and loves sports
or exercise. They are usually under the age of 18.

Message: Could signify about reaching goals, completing projects, or a warning on


impulsive choices.
● Jack of Diamonds: Someone with a trust fund or inheritance. They may not
understand the value of saving money, but may be learning how to do so. It could
represent a young person who could be wealthy. Could also mean a child saving
up cash in a piggy bank. They are usually under the age of 18.

Message: You may receive some money, an inheritance of some kind, or an


unexpected gift.

● Jack of Spades: An untrustworthy person or depressed individual. Could be an


evil spirit or a witches familiar. Sometimes this card signifies a thief or naughty
child and even an unwanted visitor. They are usually under the age of 18.

Message: Plain and simple. This card is a giver of bad news.

● Two of Hearts: Relationships. Romance. Friendship. Marriage. Sex. Choices in


love or friendship. Recurring meetups.
● Two of Clubs: Helping hands. Business partnerships. Team work. Career
choices. Repeating tasks.
● Two of Diamonds: Contracts. Gift exchanges. Financial choices. Owing money.
Recurring payments or monetary loss or gain.
