1. Find the node voltages (vx) and (vy) using nodal analysis for the circuit shown below

[Ans: Vx = 29.4, Vy = 17V]


2. Find the current through in 12 ohm resistor using mesh analysis for the network shown below.

[Ans: I12Ω = 9A]

3 . Find the supply current using star delta transformation for the circuit shown below.

[Ans: I = 1.05A]
4. Find the node voltages and branch currents using nodal analysis for the circuit shown in Fig
below

[Ans: V1 = 8V,V2= 12v, I2Ω = 1A, I1Ω= 3 A, I2 Ω = -2 A, I6Ω = 2A]


5.Find the mesh current using mesh analysis for the network shown below.

(ANS: I1= 3.75A, I2= 0A, I3= 1.25A)

6.Determine current flowing through 5 Ω resistor in the circuit shown below, Use source
transformation technique.

[Ans: I5Ω = 2.66A]

7. Find the current through 40 ohm resistor using superposition theorem.


(ANS : 0.086A )
8. Find the current through 1 ohm resistor using superposition theorem.

(ANS: 1.48 A)
9. Find the current through 2 ohm resistor using Thevenin’s theorem.

(ANS: 0.176 A)

10. Find the current through 10 ohm resistor using Thevenin’s theorem.

(ANS: 3.33 A)

Find current in 6 ohm resistor using Norton’s theorem.

(ANS: 0.5 A)
12. Find current in 5 ohm resistor using Norton’s theorem.

(ANS: 6.664 A)
